De Los Suckos sighting!  Please bring him in! Padres could use a few more insurance runs - especially with the way Adam is preparing to throw this one away. Anyone thinking he could conceivably close needs to back away slowly. Walks in a run after loading the bases. Good grief. BP gets a little sketchier every day. Not good timing on this… Scott does his job though with his 5 out save. What's not to like… Padres finally get to hammer De Los Suckos the way he got hammered when he was here.  I certainly do not miss watching him in a Padres uniform. Good to see us give it to him. Good win. Sorry to see not much has changed with him… tough place to get traded, but it had to be done. |

Skenes gets another non-playoff team and dominates. Could seal the ROY discussion with his ERA now down to 1.99. The Pirates not shutting him down as expected could cost the Padres a high draft pick.
