And just where did you get this idea? Unless you can at least provide a link to some article in which this idea has been floated, or perhaps explaining your reasons for raising the question yourself, no one will or should take you seriously.

Opec has many benefits for us, so I am quite convinced that Henry was in favor of it.
As I have pointed out thousands of times on this and past forums, when Nixon became president he and Henry realized that we HAD to conserve our natural resources and save the Oil on the north shore of Alaska and to keep the oil off of the north shore of Alaska a national secret. Everybody in the oil industry knows that there is more oil under the Arctic Sea than there was under the Saudi Sands.
By allowing OPEC to be full of themselves, we have seen them pump their oil at outrageously low prices, Meanwhile we have a hundred trillion dollars worth of oil that we have in storage for future use.
