What does Garvey know about politics? Zero. But then again, neither did Arnold. Although, Garvey is no Global Superstar like Arnold, which helped him get elected.

He's the kind of Republican I like. He's tough, can show empathy, gets things done , liberal socially. I wish he could run for president.

He was just on The View, talking about how soft (girlie men, lol) a lot of Americans are nowadays. He does have the ability to be tough and compassionate at the same time.

She was telling me that they are having difficulty finding young people who know how to work!! I have noticed over recent years, that I never saw kids mowing the lawn or pulling weeds..like in my day...it was either the parents or hired gardeners doing it. I agree with Arnold. You have to endure hardship and failure, or you won't be a high achiever.

You have to endure hardship and failure, or you won't be a high achiever. Exactly. Mobile phones, and video games have gotten the younger generation listless. If they haven't gone through any failures until their later adulthood, it makes it very tough to navigate life. Parents have a lot of blame in this one, for condoning it. I used to make summer money mowing lawns. I also had a paper route. Those sound like the dinosaur days now. When I was very young, my brother told me to learn a trade so you can always work. I did, and that advice always stuck with me. I've always been employed, either working for a Company, or owning one. I have had my failures, and I've definitely learned from. The trick is to not repeat them.

I will say however that I've worked with some millennials and a few Generation Z that blew me away with their command of technology, knowledge base in my field and had a work ethic every bit as good as mine. So I'm not discounting an entire generation by any means. Of course their upbringing had something to do with it. And oh yea, and there was the day I played 1 on 1 with a 13 year old girl at LA Fitness. First thing she did was clear me out with an elbow.. toughest, most skilled 13 year old I'd ever played with. I got an education about women's sports that day. You probably know who she is..1st pick WNBA draft, gold medal winner.

I know exactly who she is. Yes, and if I were putting down a whole generation of younger people, then I would be including my daughter, which isn't true. She has a GREAT work ethic and is very smart. I always like to say that she makes me look good.

What does Garvey know about politics? Zero. But then again, neither did Arnold. Although, Garvey is no Global Superstar like Arnold, which helped him get elected. That question could have been asked about the clown Franken too but name recognition works well with low info voters. The Unions nearly control all of CA politics, so we'll see if the machine confirms the annointed or not.
