No, I do not watch CNN. Fox, on the other hand, has real reporters in addition to opinion shows. In the latter category I count Sean Hannity or The Five (since they now seldom if ever have a Dem panelist). You're drinking the GOP Kool-Aid. You need to watch CNN and FOX - not just FOX. You need to listen to people on this board (their opinions and perspectives) without the rose-colored GOP glasses on. Above all else, I don't understand why you can't understand that people would hate Trump. He tried to overthrow an election. Democrats stand for democracy. An overthrow of an election is the exact opposite of democracy - it's the destruction of the rule of law. Let me phrase it another way. Why Don't You Hate Trump?

No, I do not watch CNN. Fox, on the other hand, has real reporters in addition to opinion shows. In the latter category I count Sean Hannity or The Five (since they now seldom if ever have a Dem panelist). Please give me an example of a GOP talking point on Bret Baier's show.
I do, however, watch many shows on YouTube that are SUPER anti-Trump. One such is Glenn Kirshner. It's not that he provides misinformation. It's just that he is so obviously hates Trump and almost certainly hopes he will get 100 years in prison that prevents me from calling his show unbiased. I never get the feeling that he has any interest in presenting information that may be prejudicial to the Left. His whole show is based on hatred of Trump. On wonders what he would do for material if Trump were to drop dead tomorrow! (Actually, I know what he would do. Attack the "MAGA" Republicans.)
Let me comment on Donald Trump. Most (although not absolutely ever) bad thing the Left says about Trump I would agree with. But there is a diffence.
I do not hate Trump. The left does!
Here's a comment I got from a discussion on the Internet. It's a criticism of the Left, not Trump.
The reason the Democrats are anxious to get Trump off the ballot (and in a penitentiary) is that they hate and fear him with disturbing intensity. After all, they were beaten by him once in 2016, and are afraid it will happen again in 2024.
In all my years of observing the American political struggle (Left versus Right) I’ve never seen so much ugly hatred of a political figure. Trump has somehow reached into the deepest part of leftist malignancy, and provoked it to blind, raging hostility.
And that’s projection, because leftists always presume to see hatred in their opponents.
AzWm CNN is less biased, BY FAR, than Fox News. Indepentent studies have shown this. Even Fox's news division is deeply biased and has a Pro Republican agenda. When you compare coverage of Trump and Biden it becomes abundantly clear. There is almost no criticism of Trump on Fox, while CNN does have negative stories about Biden when the facts dictate such coverage. Trump is a reprehensible human being. A spoiled rich brat who thinks the world owes him everything he wants, and now that includes political power. He is a bigger liar than Bill Clinton, and that's saying a lot. He has said - out loud - that he shouldn't have to follow the Constitution if he doesn't like the parts of the Constitution involved or if it prevents him from doing what he wants. Several of his aides have said how they were barely able to talk him out of doing illegal, unconstitutional things while he was in office. And now he's saying he's not going to have anyone in his next administration that doesn't agree with him 100%. If you can't see how bad that could get I don't know what to tell you. But doesn't the fact that he idolizes Putin give you some concern? First of all, I'm not sure that "Trump idolizes Putin" can be backed up with evidence. Trump says a lot of stupid things, not all of which should be taken seriously.
I'm not worried about Trump threatening Democracy for at least two reasons. First, he is NOT going to win the election! Second, you mention (evidence, please) that Several of his aides have said how they were barely able to talk him out of doing illegal, unconstitutional things while he was in office. In the event, he did not, stated in the quote, actually do anything that was illegal.
As I have pointed out, if he is re-elected and tries to do something unconstitutional, the courts will smack him done. Let's see. That would be like what Biden did with his student loan gambit. As I recall, the Supremes smacked Biden down for that move.
As far as being a rich brat, well, there are plenty of politicians who are in the same category.
Lest readers forget, let me state that I am totally opposed to both Trump and Biden!

Just tip of the iceberg type stuff. His repeated on the record statements and his interviews where he openly praises Putin, Kim Jong Un and other dictators. Birds of a feather. Regarding things that are dangerous/unconstitutional/against the law: - Trump wanted to invade Mexico and send a quarter million troops into another sovereign nation without their permission. He also wanted to send missiles into Mexico to "bomb drug labs." - Trump was warned about removing classified material from the White House by multiple individuals. - Trump was informed that his election conspiracy theories were debunked and ignored warnings he was subject to legal scrutiny as a result. - It's widely been reported that his own intelligence briefings were selectively hid from him in fear of his emotional reaction and inability to exhibit self-control. - He outed at least one US human asset who was serving in Putin's inner circle. - Trump reportedly leaked an Israeli Mossad mission in Syria to the Russians. - Trump outed an Israeli spy embedded within ISIS that had provided intel about a planned terrorist attack on a passenger jet flying to the United States. Do we really need to keep going? You're seriously trying to say that if he was talked out of something illegal, that that somehow doesn't make it dangerous? Let's...not.

In the case of Trump, a more reasonable emotion would be fear; fear of what he might do if re-elected. But I do not fear Trump on those grounds either, because he will not win in '24. Similarly, I do not fear that an asteroid will hit my house, although I consider that a more likely event than a Trump win in 2024.
Back to hated. Hatred is a very negative emotion, as explained in this quote:
Poison isn’t always something you eat or drink – it can be an emotion. And hate is one of them, eating you up inside and causing destruction.
Hate is a mighty strong emotion. This mental venom can pollute your spirit, poison your soul and seep into all of the relationships that surround you. Anyone who has found themselves wrapped up in the arms of hate knows how damaging and mind-consuming it can become. Even the word carries power . . .
While hate can be directed at almost anything – animals, foods, jobs, movies – the most destructive is hatred toward other people. (https://www.everydayhealth.com/emotional-health/destructive-power-hate/)
I fear rattle snakes, great white sharks, and lions. I respect the danger they represent and do my best to avoid them. But I do not hate them.

William, you don't even know trump. General Kelley does...and he says "God help us". He knows the guy, just like Mattis, Milley, Bolton, Mooch, Cohen, and all the rest who worked for him. He's a pig of a human. You have given him a pass over and over again. I don't want to go over all the evil $#!+ he's said about injured servicemen, servicemen who died in WW2 and more. I have never hated anyone more in my life. I know women who have never dropped an F-bomb in their life....who if I merely mention the name of trump, they become a fire breathing dragons ready to destroy. He's taken a big turd in America's punchbowl, and fellow Americans act out and do things previously thought unimaginable. He's poison. On this Board, I will celebrate the day he drops...and likely won't get banned..cause the monitors hate him as much as I do. Even though I lean left, I was sad the day Reagan got shot and have somewhat of a soft spot for Nixon because of Clean Air, Water and Endangered Speceis Act. For trump, I piss on the mother fuckers grave.

You are wasting your time explaining Trump's many faults. I am well aware of his character. Trump, especially since his denial of Biden's win in 2020, is totally unqualified to be anywhere near the White House.
My biggest gripe about Trump is that he has gone a long way to making this country a one-party state.

You kinda just did when you openly refuted basic facts of on the record information that detail how much of a danger he is to democracy and this country. When you challenge people for "evidence, please" when it's widely available....that's pretty much giving a pass.

Every single time a new story comes out with new evidence of his wrongdoing he goes UP in the polls. The more criminal he proves to be, the more people rally around him. It's insane, but it's been happening for 2 years now. And now he leads Biden by about 8 points - more than the margin of error. If the election were held today he'd win.

We haven't even come close to the beginning of the legal challenges for Trump to even *be* on the ballot. No reliable poll has Trump up eight points and polls this far out mean very little. Trump will have to survive at least one more indictment, multiple 14th Amendment challenges and the optics of his legal jeopardy with the voters.

There was a poll last week or the week before with Trump up by 8 or 10 points. I didn't have much time to look it up yesterday, so the only poll like that I found was one Washington Post/ABC that has people criticizing it because of the results. But the polls of Republican voters all show increased support for Trump, so the other polls may just be behind.
