And several REPUBLICANS are calling it an, "Unmitigated disaster."
Every single witness said they have NO firsthand evidence. All they've got is supposition and hearsay. No direct evidence whatsoever. It made the Republicans look like fools, like puppets of Donald Trump who is out to get Joe Biden for personal reasons.
The Republican Party in 2023 is a joke. They can't govern, and they focus on an impeachment inquiry without any real evidence. It's just a, "Well you impeached our guy, twice, so we're going after your guy!"
Just reminding me of why I left the Republican Party. It's an inept, incompetent, unethical group of people who don't care about facts or the actual rule of law, they just want power and they want to stick it to the Democrats. It's like a party of 12 year olds.

Here are some key takeaways from Thursday's hearing:
GOP witnesses say not enough evidence yet to impeach Biden: While Republicans leveled accusations of corruption against Joe Biden over his son’s business dealings, the GOP expert witnesses who testified Thursday were not ready to go that far.
Forensic accountant Bruce Dubinsky, one of the GOP witnesses, undercut Republicans’ main narrative by saying there wasn’t enough evidence yet for him to conclude that there was “corruption” by the Bidens.
Witness testimony frustrates some Republicans: Some inside the GOP are expressing frustration to CNN in real time with how the House GOP’s first impeachment inquiry hearing is playing out, as the Republican witnesses directly undercut the GOP’s own narrative and admit there is no evidence that Biden has committed impeachable offenses.
“You want witnesses that make your case. Picking witnesses that refute House Republicans arguments for impeachment is mind blowing,” one senior GOP aide told CNN. “This is an unmitigated disaster.”
GOP maps out questions they want to answer: House Republicans opened their first impeachment hearing Thursday with a series of lofty claims against the president, as they try to connect him to his son’s “corrupt” business dealings overseas. Comer claimed the GOP probes have “uncovered a mountain of evidence revealing how Joe Biden abused his public office for his family’s financial gain,” even though he hasn’t put forward any concrete evidence backing up that massive allegation.
Democrats attack inquiry for lacking evidence on the president: Democrats repeatedly pointed out that the Republican allegations about foreign payments were tied to money that went mostly Hunter Biden – but not the to the president. “The majority sits completely empty handed with no evidence of any presidential wrongdoing, no smoking gun, no gun, no smoke,” said Rep. Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the Oversight committee.
Raskin’s staff brought in the 12,000 pages of bank records the committee has received so far, as Raskin said, “not a single page shows a dime going to President Joe Biden.” Raskin also had a laptop open displaying a countdown clock for when the government shuts down in a little more than two days – another point Democrats used to bash Republicans for focusing on impeachment and failing to pass bills to fund the government.

Interesting how no Republicans will raise their hands....for one reason only. They know their orange owner is watching! SAD sock puppets.

That was funny, he must be used to the crowd at his bible study sessions. This was probably taken out of context, a 10 second excerpt can hardly encapsulate the entire day like some of you are suggesting.
The fact the Dems were attacking everything and everyone shows me they are concerned about what will be brought to light. In their entitled minds, they (Dems) are the only party who should ever impeach any government official and the Republicans are usurping their exclusive role.

Republicans only party that should ever have an official executed? Do you ever get embarrassed that you blindly follow the orange Mouselini?

Taken out of context....you'd think the entire hearing was taken out of context? There's plenty more. The level of delusion you live in after watching that and still believing what you do is truly something special. Here's a longer version, just for you. If you watched any of those six hours and didn't come to the immediate realization that this is nothing more than an intentional charade under the command of Donald Trump, you're losing. Comer stumbled and bumbled his way like a fool, the Republicans were in complete disarray, their own witnesses didn't back up their claims. Here's Comer lying to your face, courtesy of Sean Hannity. If you're naive enough to believe this is a battle of public opinion on Fox News, then you're the exact type of mark they are going after. Congrats.

The Democrats support the prosecution of Hunter Biden if the evidence shows crimes. The Democrats support PUNISHMENT for Hunter Biden if he's found guilty. The Republicans, however, won't even support punishing Donald Trump if he's found guilty of high crimes. What does that say about the Republican Party? IT'S A CULT, AND TRUMP IS THEIR CULT LEADER.

I’ll bottom line this for you Democrats, and it has very little to do with Donald Trump. "High crimes and misdemeanors" is a phrase from Section 4 of Article Two of the United States Constitution: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." If President Biden has been taking foreign money (bribes) for favors to be enacted upon by the US Government, then he must be removed from office. If this is proven to be true, then I have to think there will be at least a few Democrats who will pull the trigger because: A). It is the law. B). Democrats love making history. First removal of a president, first female president. C). Several Democratic Senators feel uncomfortable with the marked decline in President Biden’s mental acuity and will be willing to back another candidate for 2024…Newsom, RFK, whoever. D). If it is obvious that President Biden is guilty, enough Dems will not want to be associated with the greasy palms and wholesale corruption that is about to be put on display. They will throw Biden under the bus.

You'd have to be completely blind to conclude that there's no influence here, it's blatantly obvious, thanks to Comer's own statements. You also have the fact that Republicans used doctored, fake imagery in the inquiry hearing. It's a complete farce, to be blunt. There's nothing in the Constitution that ties Biden to a specific crime WHILE HE IS PRESIDENT. That's a distinction you're overlooking. Another thing you're overlooking? There's no proof tying Joe Biden to anything that would represent a high crime or misdemeanor that we've seen that meets the threshold. The only maneuver available is impeachment - Which, spoiler alert.....is not happening. Your blind speculation is about as valuable as the land that the doofus you still think is president lives on. RFK is going to run as an independent and will not be backed by the Dems. I will grant you the theory that Biden may not be the popular candidate from all factions within his own party, but that's a far cry from the insinuations you're making.

Biden is going to be impeached for taking foreign money aka bribery while Vice President. These are self inflicted crimes which will be presented to the public as evidence. When he was president, Trump looked into Biden’s dealings in the Ukraine and was quickly impeached for trying to fulfill his presidential duties. (The first one) That is a pretty decent tell right there and shows there is something which needs to be looked at. Hell, Biden used to brag about his bullying Ukrainian prosecutors and politicians who threatened to expose his under the table dealings. The “Big Guy” has a big problem, and unless the media decides not to air the GOP’s case on TV (I’m sure at least Faux News will cover it, which means everyone else will lest they get scooped) this will not be a good look for President Biden and his dropping poll numbers.

For the love of God, stop..watching...Fox. You're learning nothing. There is no impeachment. There's no Speaker of the House right now, for God's sake. Let me explain something here - There's a better chance of a Democrat taking control of the Speaker role than there is for a Biden impeachment. No Democrats will vote for impeachment. Even if every...single.... Republican does (which isn't happening, as many do not support this idiotic waste of time with zero evidence), it's DOA in the Senate. DOA. You can keep repeating the same nonsense and false talking points... you're just showing how naive you are. Trump was impeached (the first one, as you carefully stated, which is funny because he's the only bozo to be impeached twice!) for attempting to coerce foreign governments to investigate a political rival and interfering in the election. He withheld military aid. Weird how Russia invaded Ukraine just a couple years later, huh? Once again, you have the timeline of facts backwards. Shokin was not fired because he was investigating Burisma, he was fired because he refused to investigate corruption inside his own country. I'm sure Fox will cover it in embarrassing fashion, yes. The inquiry isn't even legal, as a reminder, so this is going nowhere, but congrats?

The same intellectual dishonesty that says there is no evidence of Joe Biden’s participating in Government Corruption with the selling of his office as VP is the same intellectual dishonesty that says there is no open Southern border. Obvious to all save for the True Believer.
And if you were alive over the last number decades (and not a Jay Walking All Star), you had head of Indonesia’s Suharto or the Philippines’ Ferdinand Marcos, for example. Both of whom are poster boys for Government Corruption and both featured bribery/corruption with money flowing to their closest relatives. Its what a corrupt Government official does.
There is a reason why Joe lied again and again about his son’s business dealings enabled by Joe’s Government ties (ala Government Meetings & contacts, Air Force 2 trips, etc). It is because Joe, as Vice President, is a Law Enforcement Officer.
While the average Joe (no pun intended) can be deemed to be a co-conspirator when they observe or know of a crime occurring and then fail to report it, it is significantly more criminal when an Officer of the Law or Court fails in that regard. And Joe knew well that his son was running afoul of many laws (like FARA, money laundering, any number of violations of 18 U.S. Code § 201, etc) and said he knew nothing about it to save his own future skin. But even the leftist media and his sycophants had to admit that Joe knew about Hunter’s Business dealings and would imply a knowing conspiracy.
And spare me….Just because a Democrat Government Lifer (working downstream from Joe in the Administration and protecting one of their most valued possessions - their future pension) didn’t implicate Joe and charge Hunter with FARA Violations or Bribery Charges, it doesn’t mean those violations didn’t happen.
Of course, the most obvious bribe is seen in the Burisma Holdings case. FD-1023s assert it. The circumstances imply it. The timing of the surrounding events back it. Official Government actions by Joe confirm it. As for other possible bribes - the Wife of the Mayor of Moscow paying for “Consulting Services” thing? Good God!
The fact of the co-mingling of money between Joe and family members has been asserted and backed by circumstantial evidence (See Big Guy, 10%, Cell Phones, home maintenance, etc). What does one do with Hunter’s comment “But don't worry unlike Pop I won't make you give me half your salary”? Nothing?
Obviously corrupt and worthy of further investigation and impeachment, especially when Joe was caught on a hot mic arrogantly saying “Where's the money?”, don’t you think?

Conspiracy theory, conspiracy theory, conspiracy theory, something about Ferdinand Marcos.....Okay, pass? Co-mingling of money? Not a crime. Private citizen making money from a foreign government? Not a crime. Circumstancial evidence? You nailed it. Nope, not enough for an inquiry. Not enough for an impeachment process. If you have to manipulate and fabricate evidence like they did during the hearing....you lose.

In case you need a refresher on corruption, from Wikipedia: "Political corruption is the use of powers by government officials or their network contacts for illegitimate private gain....Forms of corruption vary, but can include bribery, lobbying, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, parochialism, patronage, influence peddling, graft, and embezzlement." The Bidens are not even close to innocent.

Sounds like a pretty weak argument that you know has no weight. Something you and the Republicans have in common.

The improper comingling of a few grand brings Felony charges to Duncan Hunter but comingling some fraction of $20 million or more from foreign oligarchs gets a complete and total pass, all while a quid pro quo provided by Joe is obvious to all. It's nothing only to Democrat True Believers.

Stop using the "true believers" crap. It's lame. Duncan Hunter violated campaign finance laws and committed wire fraud, but he pled guilty to one count of misusing campaign funds....because it was tied directly to him. Nice attempt.

Duncan and Joe both broke the law but only one get gets cover from the DoJ as they pushed back on IRS investigators in a variety of ways. The corrupt Prez and Govies forced otherwise unknown Gov lifers to become outcasts and likely lose their careers as their personal integrity wouldn't allow them to be silent in face of the obvious corruption.
