Remembering D-Day, the 6th of June.

While D-Day was not, repeat not, the turning point of WWII (That actually was Hitler's declaring war on the USA), it was a monumental operation that should not be forgotten. Go to the History section of today's RealClearPolitics for several pieces on the invasion.

I wonder just what is taught about D-Day in today's classrooms.

For me, the best D-Day movie is "The Longest Day".
