Holy smokes. How the mighty (Bruins) have fallen! I could never imagine a blueblood UCLA program going down on their hallowed home ground to GCU and Liberty in a regional! That's just nuts.

If you look at UCLA's last 6 games, they won three 1 run games and then lost three straight. Clearly they were not the same team that was ranked second in the nation with a 52 and 4 record going into the regional at their place. You have to shake your head - but I'm doing it with a huge smile. Really do dislike the Bruins! Since we shut out both GCU and Liberty, you have got to like our chances to advance. Go Aztecs!

I sure hope ESPN provides a link to the outfield catch/collision @ the 5th inning. That was nails hanging onto that thing by Jeweliana Perez -- and I sure hope Keester is OK. That's the kind of hit that could make someone really sore the next day. |

Liberty is leading GCU 4-1 after 5. I hope Liberty wins because they should be gassed after playing back to back games tonight.
Aztecs game Sunday is 3:00pm PST. If we lose, we play again right afterwards.
