Good to see that we are going after a legit big man out of high school. NIL money and transfers is almost getting to the point to where schools aren't paying as much attention to high school players. The thought was that making the NCAA championship would help our recruiting - maybe the boost will be in going after 4 star high school players...

The name is: Pape N’Diaye, not Pape N’Diane as in the subject line.

Pape N’Diaye, 7'0" 200 lbs. Class of 2024 - still a relative unknown, but is getting some attention this spring/summer in AAU Ball. N’Diaye is a 7'0" post-player from the Ivory Coast in Africa. He has only been playing basketball for about 6 years, and putting up ridiculous stat lines with the LV Knicks, like a 16-point, 15-rebound, six-block game.
Not ranked yet, but he hasn’t even been in the United States for a year. He has also reported offers from SDSU, UNLV, Fresno State, Kansas, UNM, UCF, Arizona State, USU, Oregon State, Nevada, GA Tech, Creighton, & Xavier. Oklahoma State has him on the radar.

Pape N’Diaye, 7'0" 200 lbs. Class of 2024 from the Trinity International School (LV, NV w/ 80 students grades 5-12), according to 247 Sports, he has at least 8 offers: SDSU, Arizona State, Boise State, Kansas, UCF, Utah State, and Xavier. (Other sources have him 10-12 offers.)
He will get more exposure at the NBPA TOP 100 Camp, which gives current and former NBA players interested in coaching an opportunity to gain hands-on experience mentoring and coaching some of the best basketball players in the world. Well, we know he can dunk. He didn't look too clumsy the one time he dribbled the ball. If he's only been playing BB one year, he's come pretty far. Though I'm not sure how difficult it would be to back down a 7', 200lb guy. Of course, you'd still need to elevate the shot over that long frame.

LV Journal Review, October 2023 Pape N’Diaye, a shot-blocking, rim-running, four-star center for Trinity International School, announced via Instagram his commitment Tuesday to UNLV. He joins three-star California wing James Evans as the second member of coach Kevin Kruger’s 2024 recruiting class.N’Diaye, who relocated in September 2022 from the Ivory Coast to Las Vegas, already left his biological family to play basketball in Las Vegas. Now he won’t yet leave the proverbial family he’s developed since arriving. His commitment is nonbinding and unofficial until he signs a national letter of intent. The early signing period for prospective basketball players begins Nov. 8. www.reviewjournal.com/sports/unlv/unlv-basketball/unlv-gets-commitment-from-4-star-local-center-from-ivory-coast-2915091/
