A group of rioters has demonstrated inside the Texas Capital building over SB 14 aimed at protecting CHILDREN that does 2 things. 1) protect parental rights to tell children No to reassignment surgery regarding gender and 2) is against child mutilation by removing their private parts. The fbi should arrest these rioters who should be held without trial in prison as domestic terrorists. SB 14 is allowed under the 10th Amendment.

Protesters who left the gallery continued to chant in the lobby outside the chamber on the Capitol’s third floor. A DPS officer with a bullhorn then directed the group to leave the lobby because the lawmakers “cannot continue business.” State police began to usher protesters down the stairs and out of the building." And I suggest you read SB 14 again, because your description is pisspoor and reeks of transphobia. While you're at it, reread the Constitution. |

My position is protecting children with boys to become men and girls to become women. The 10th Amendment states that all decisions not delegated to federal government is reserved to the states. That is exactly what Texas is doing with the SB 14 legislation aimed at protecting children from a life changing event.

My position is protecting children with boys to become men and girls to become women. The 10th Amendment states that all decisions not delegated to federal government is reserved to the states. That is exactly what Texas is doing with the SB 14 legislation aimed at protecting children from a life changing event. Under this bird-brained logic, any state can pass any bill they want and you'd okay it, under the guise of the 10th Amendment. It's almost like...wait for it....a private entity denying you access for being unvaccinated. Oh, the irony. Children with boys to become men? Um. Okay. And no, SB 14 blocks access to needed therapies for marginalized kids that have substantially higher rates of suicide and depression. Can we stop pretending the GOP, especially in Texas, gives one $#!+ about doing what's right? It's about cruelty and pushing a transphobic agenda. They need a Boogeyman. |

It’s about protecting the most vulnerable members of our society, our children, from monsters. |

For example, our society doesn’t allow 8 year old children to drive or drink alcohol. The children who do want to drink and drive, are their rights being violated? No, because rational adults who enact our laws have determined that an 8 year old child is not mature enough to safely drink alcohol or drive (or both) and the decision to not allow them these activities is in everyone best interests. I can’t believe this needs to be argued, it seems fairly self evident. Perhaps the people who support these policies should undergo the procedure of gender reassignment themselves, just to gain a full understanding of the life path they are enthusiastically advocating for our own children. Just a thought. |
