I am going to let you in on a little secret but don't tell anyone. San Diego State does have this mini helmet and it is available to us. If you have the San Diego State app. You need to tap the three lines on the left. Then proceed down to Aztec Rewards. Hit on your points (if you have any) as we get them for season tickets and attending events. Go to prizes and you can see everything the school offers. This helmet is available for 1,200 points. There are even autographed memorabilia like a signed Aztec mens basketball jerseys for one gazillion points. But don't tell anyone because I am saving up my points for a week at Disneyland with Coach Dutch. Only one available and I have dibs. |

Just spent 15 minutes trying access the "Reward" points only to realize that even though I was already inside my Aztec account I had to open up an additional and separate "Rewards" account. What a waste. A bit redundant if you ask me.

To make it worse, once you do get in, it's like the days when you spent $42.00 playing Skeet ball and accumulating tickets. The you went to the "Prize" section with your $42.00 worth of tickets and traded them in for a $1.76 toy that you lost on the way home. |

The 1200 point helmet in the "rewards" section is not the Riddell helmet. It is the helmet season ticket holders got a few years back as the season ticket gift. It is attached to a base platform and isn't nearly as good as the Riddell helmet. |

Completes my Aztec mini helmet collection Now if they would just do a full size one. I’ve only ever seen one once. It was about $1000. I have occasionally regretted not grabbing that thing… Since I’ve never seen one since. It was super cool, looked like an official one that the team actually might have had in their inventory. |

Do they ever sell them at auction or when they sell gear at the Aztec events? I am only asking because I don't think I have ever seen one for sale but I would like to get my hands on one as well. It would look legit on my office desk. I might even be willing to make a sizeable donation to have one encased like my Steve Fished autographed Nike ball I won at an auction. |

Call SDSU about info. Guessing u donate enough a helmet is available? And they have had them for bid and drawings at functions in the past.
