Remember this comment from Bill Werndl who said "Why not Us" in reference to SDSU winning the National Championship. Now two wins away but the player's focus should be on beating Florida Atlantic. He made that comment in either 2011 or 2014.

I don't remember that, but I definitely never forgot the opening statement of Steve Fisher's post game presser after the Sweet Sixteen loss to Arizona back in 2014. Just as prophetic and maybe even more meaningful than his presser when he was introduced as head coach.

Yep, this FF is for ALL of the AZZZZZZZZZZtecs that have come before this year's team. They are standing on some BIG shoulders.
… maybe no shoulders are larger than Coach Fisher's.
Hope he and his wife will be going to Houston … not sure if Mark can make it, but if not, I'm sure he'll be on call.
