Am thinking of heading down to Viejas to watch the game Saturday. Ya’ll think it will be a free watch party again, or a huge crowd?

If they do not have a BIG party planned for Saturday at Viejas the Marketing department needs to be fired ON THE SPOT!

Viejas should be full Saturday. Since the Wave have a home game Saturday, Snapdragon Stadium is out as a watch party site.

I'm gonna bump my own thread here, just to see if there is any update. Wife and kids want to make the drive down to Viejas, but want to make sure its open.

We went to Viejas for the Creighton game. I'm not great at estimating crowds but I'd say maybe 2000 by the time we left at halftime.
It was free but you pay for parking. You pay with a phone app, about $3/hour.
They had a few concessions open.
Everyone sits about halfway up the arena so they can be more even with the scoreboard screen. The TV sound was loud enough to hear, maybe even a bit too loud.
The reason we left is we had a lot of people sitting behind and around us that felt like late-to-the-party bandwagon fans and they never stopped talking amongst themselves instead of watching the game and cheering appropriately. We finished the game at home and were glad to do so. It would have been fun to be with a lot of people at the end of the game so maybe we try again, maybe not.

I went Sunday and it was a blast. When game started there were probably 800 to 1000 people. By the end of the game there were probably double that. Fun time.
