Quit blaming the refs, they’re letting both teams play. It’s up to us to be tougher inside and actually make contested 2 footers. Gotta turn them over a little bit and get something going downhill, their half court D is very solid.

Been a while since I’ve seen an Aztec team with a great play and get the basket as they wound the clock down.

OK, this is pretty much what the game comes down to - what will Dutcher and company come up with here to turn this game around.
We've had the lead once, we've tied it up after trailing by 8 - we can make up 5 points no problem IF we can make good adjustments and the team stars executing better.

We aren't out of it, but as in all of our losses and many of our wins, shooting is woeful. Year after year we have very good teams, but seldom do we have a consistent scorer, and two scorers is even rarer.

Good second half team, whereas Creighton gives up the 145th most points after halftime.

Not the greatest half ever, but we're a better team overall. Gotta wear 'em down and make them work harder. Exactly. We're only down five. We need to ramp up the pressure. Kalkbrenner's going to be out there early and often this second half. If they're smart, they'll feed him all game long the rest of the way. We need to stop him. When he kicks it out, Bevin a good defensive position. Rebound. |

Bradley - 2 points in the first half, following his zero points in the first half against Alabama. Some guys just can’t handle the pressure in the spotlight. Let’s see if he can answer the bell in the second half.

Seems like their big man does not jump or attempt to block shots, he just walls up. He is taller, we are stronger. Our guys need to get into his body and use are physical strength.

GD refs missed the tip, ball was out of bounds on the blowjays! And called a terrible charge on ledee. Should have been a flop Plus the defender was in the circle! |

If Creighton can play this well through the second half, they deserve to win. I personally don't think it will happen, SDSU will make adjustments and wear them down.

Stay in the fight, boys. No foul trouble is a big positive…we can turn up the aggression a bit in the second half maybe.

This is a dogfight. They have a very good coach and their center IS the x factor. I don't see very many ways we can improve on defense, so it HAS to be our offense that steps up to win the day.
Bradley, it's time for you to take over and go off!
