Does anybody on here still hope that Trammell won't be on our team next year? Incredible game on both ends of the floor for Trammell!!! There were OPs who did indeed wish that very thing a few games ago. Prolly not now, though... |

I'm sure the more seasoned fans can relate, but having gone thru the very slight ups and major downs over the years as an Aztecs fan, then to build up the program only to go through some excruciating losses like Brandon Heath dribbling the ball off his foot vs Indiana, the missed three vs Tennessee, Kemba Flopping Walker, the Creighton meltdown, getting here to the Elite 8 is almost a surreal feeling. I knew we were capable of winning today after we played our best hoops of the season vs Furman, but to watch us actually do it was an amazing thing.

Deserves a re-post with updates: Our team is Our team is 30-6...they won the Mountain West regular season by 2 games over three tournament teams...they then won three games straight to win the Mountain West Conference tournament...they then have won the three games of the NCAA tournament...with an opportunity to win additional games I am so grateful for this team...for how hard they play...and for their unselfish humility and consummate team play. I am grateful for ALL the players on our team...ALL the players, ALL the coaches, the ENTIRE support staff including our long-time play-by-play announcer, spotters, engineers, stats people, and video personnel I am grateful that our entire starting backcourt of our 28-6 team is coming back next year to help win another championship...including the league's defensive player of the year and our 5'8" player who plays with heart and effort every time he's on the floor I am grateful for the players who forewent an opportunity to earn a paycheck for playing the game they love to play for San Diego State one more season. Experience beat youth and talent tonight.
I didn’t think we had a chance shooting like we did but our guys have character for days. Great to finally see our defensive excellence pay off.
So proud of the respect this brings to our school.

Great win without much production from Bradley. He did come up with a key basket and free throws at the end though.
