With all the heartbreaking losses we’ve had over the years - yes we’ve have a lot of success in both FB & BB the past 10-15 years- I feel like we are due to have one of those “we really took the next step” moments. This is as good an opportunity as any. Are we due? We will see shortly. |

Today is the biggest game we’ve played in a decade. Finally our chance to bring some lasting respect to the program from the talking heads that always discount us. Hope our guys are up to the task today.

A Sweet 16 appearance is a great accomplishment, but I can't fathom what a win against the #1 seed on national TV would do for recruiting and the program in general. Shock the world!

The storyline is breaking so nicely for us. Take out the bad guys, revenge on Creighton and Houston, and then either revenge on UConn or an all-West final vs Gonzaga. Would be sweet, literally. Let's take care of Bama first.

lets be real -- if the aztecs get blown out, this board will have a meltdown. regardless of already reaching expectations, it's the only normal thing to do and I do not blame anyone. this is a game you have to win or at least have it close to earn any sort of respect. not looking for a moral victory but you know what I mean (losing like msu did not like arkansas)

lets be real -- if the aztecs get blown out, this board will have a meltdown. regardless of already reaching expectations, it's the only normal thing to do and I do not blame anyone. this is a game you have to win or at least have it close to earn any sort of respect. not looking for a moral victory but you know what I mean (losing like msu did not like arkansas) It would depend on the reason for us getting blown out. If it’s cause we play poorly and miss open shots, miss layups, miss defensive assignments that would be frustrating but if Alabama neutralizes us and shows they are just a lot better than us then we shouldn’t feel as bad. |

Brandon Millers says he feels like he is 100%, but coach Oats says he still is not. What's the truth here? Perhaps coach is worried about taking an L and wants an excuse if they fail?

I never, EVER get tired of watching this. It always makes me smile, laugh, get goosebumps and fills me with nostalgia when I see my wife and I's younger selves storming the court. Good times!! Thanks. |
