If you have the time, I would recommend staying an extra day. Some very cool places as mentioned earlier.

What are tickets looking like? Is there a designated section(s) for SDSU fans? Also, where are the games being played? I just discovered it appears at the KFC Yum Center. Is it close to the Galt House? What time is our game? That will likely determine what night I book. If it's a morning or noon-ish game I'd probably stay the night before and if it's an evening game I'd stay the night of the game.

I might make the trip, anyone else? I believe I'm going to go. Trying to figure out if there is an SDSU section for seating. I want decent ticket in the lower level. Corner would be acceptable. Also trying to find game time as I am either staying Friday or Thursday, not both. |

I have stayed at the Galt House. As I recall, you can easily walk to the KFC Yum Center from the hotel.

Tickets through SDSU is $150 each per session. Session 1 is Friday, Session 2 is Sunday if they win on Friday. Seat location dependent on your Aztec Club status

I think the ticket links may be specific to individuals. The email says you need to login using the email address SDSU has on file.

If not all tickets are allocated at that point then tickets will be allocated to non Aztec Club members. You can get your order in. Your credit card won't be charged unless you actually get tickets. |

Good news is the temps for Louisville will be in the 50s for Friday. The early forecast looks like all day rain for Friday in Louisville. The Arena policy is small umbrellas are allowed if they fit in a purse. Large umbrellas are not allowed and while the arena has a holding area, they are not responsible for lost or stolen umbrellas. The other issue is the Yum Center is a cashless venue. So bring a major credit card for food, drink or souvenirs.

Im in Vermont but considering coming down solo as my wife can’t make it and none of my SD buddies are down for the trip.
Anybody else going solo or am I the only weird one?

I went to the 2011 MWC tournament when Kawhi was on the team solo and had a blast. Much easier to get a ticket. That event on Thursday was sold out but got in at the tail end of the Jimmer 44 pt. game prior to our game. Found some random friends and had a great time. You should definitely do it. Now I get a crew to go to the MWC tourney every year! |
