Saw him at Torrey Pines Holiday Tournament. He's very fluid for a big man but not very aggressive. He's a good, athletic and long kid though with a nice looking shot.

Very raw. I'd expect him to follow the path of Shay if he comes here - RS, deep bench, then in year 3 play a role.

This year was just a numbers thing with Nate, LeDee & AG. Heard they're excited about Heide, but you know Dutch's thoughts about FR. My guess is he'll be 10th man-type like Saunders this year, at best.

Miles Goodman, O’Dea (Washington)
Set to be one of the state's top returning players next season as a senior, Goodman will look to lead O’Dea to its first state title since the 2018-19 season. The 6-foot-11 junior was dominant in the Torrey Pines Holiday Classic presented by SBLive Sports in December and was an interior force against the state of Washington as O'Dea made a Class 3A state runner-up finish. Finished fourth on the team in scoring (8.6 points per game) and second in rebounding (6.0 rebounds per game) this season and holds offers from Washington, San Diego State and more.

I definitely wouldn't say he was "dominant" at Torrey. I saw every one of his games & its very obvious he's extremely raw. He had a few scoreless halves. He's all about his ceiling, more so than where he is today.

Are we also interested in Cofie? Both are talented big men... if we got both we could have a formidable PF + C combo in a few years!

According to Kerr, who coached Goodman for three seasons at O'Dea, the forward has a chance to climb much higher than his current ranking as the nation's No. 90 overall prospect.
"Miles is, hands down, the hardest working big in the nation and, in my opinion, the best," he said. "With the growth we have seen in the last two years, he is no doubt a future pro. He is a dominant rim protector but can also get down in a stance and guard a 2/3. Offensively, he is positionless. He has run the point, played the wing, and dominated in the post. Miles has great ball handling, shooting, and passing skills that make him a 5 star player, no doubt. The sky is the limit for this young man.

Goodman has transferred from Seattle to Southern California.
New school: Southern California Academy (California)
Transferred from: O’Dea (Washington)
Goodman helped O’Dea reach the state championship game as a sophomore, and now he’ll look to help Southern California Academy win on the national stage. Both CAL &n Georgetown recently jumped into the recruitment for the 6-foot-11 center, joining San Diego State, Washington and others.
