Not following, maybe I'm just slow. Because his last name is Borg (meaning BYU)? The backstory goes something like this and somebody please correct if I'm wrong. Borg refers to the character/s from Star Trek, The Borg or cyborg (I think). I never watched it back in the day but remember the context. The Borg I believe assimilate their enemies or something like that. So when our 1 and only BYU fan who is super cool came on here, he adopted that name "Borg". So many refer to byu and their fans as the borg. So to this recruit having the last name as Borg makes it so much funnier. Where is Borg btw? Been a minute since I last seen him on this board. He was a cool BYU fan.

www.startrek.com/database_article/borg"According to their spokesman, in the form of an assimilated Captain Jean-Luc Picard, the Borg only want to "raise the quality of life" of the species they "assimilate." (See "Best of Both Worlds") Androids, for example, they view as primitive and obsolete. Born humanoid, they are almost immediately implanted with bio-chips that link their brains to a collective consciousness via a unique subspace frequency emitted by each drone." BYU right?

He was a cool BYU fan. He has relocated to Idaho. Still lives and dies w his Cougars and keeps an eye on the Aztecs, but his days on the boards have ended. We stay in touch via text as our teams successes and failures accumulate.
