He was gone as soon as the Pads acquired Maybin. Gwynn Jr. had a great glove but it was not enough to justify his inabilities at the plate. This ballclub had plenty of other options for a 4th or 5th outfielder.
Still, it'll take some getting used to seeing him in Dodger blue.

Love the kid, but his bat needs WORK.
Still, he plays the game the right way, he HUSTLES, and is a great outfielder.
I am glad I got to see him hit a walk off single this past season on the 4th of July....it was awesome.

I wish him all the best. This is his make or break year btw, another .215 hitting performance and he is gone.
