Voters take the time to vote and can't follow the election day postmark deadline to turn in one's ballot. There may be over 20,000 voters statewide that turned in a ballot late, processed by U.S.P.S on the day after the election and received a postmark of June 8. A comment from the registrar of voters says ballots received after election day can be counted as long as the meet the requirement of having a pre or on election day postmark. Putting a ballot in the blue U.S.P.S. collection box after the last collection time pick up on election day means said ballot will receive a postmark for the day after the election making this late postmark ballots illegal and the registrar of voters must not count them.
