The writer for the EVT - did an article saying the Aztecs may have a 5 star DB recruit from Mater Dei ( Orange County ) then stated in his article that if he was closer to 6 ft not maybe 5'8 " or 5'9" he would have very likely been a 5 star recruit . Think we all know that most 4 or 5 star HS recruits are very likely going to P5 schools - At 5'9, Josh Hunter still got an LSU offer. We're definitely lucky he chose us even at 5'9.

Just committed to Alabama. At least we'll see a local kid playing QB in a national championship game.

Not a huge suprise. Bama brought in a UW Freshman QB. Guess Sayin was just there for Saban. Wonder if he goes to TU......

If Sabin told his recruits yes, I will be there……. then he retires, that is selling a false bill of goods. Granted, Alabama is an iconic football program, but if they pull a switcheroo with the coaching staff I can hardly blame Sayin for having second thoughts.
