Really fun watching the announcement, which included the family and Coach Doyle, live on KUSI this morning. The unveiling of the Aztec background etc...nice!

Love it. Led all California with 2,600 yards and 40Tds. D1 state champs too. I love the Lucky Rambo combo and also glad I don’t have to watch him play against Saints anymore and I can cheer for him in our red and black. Fantastic job keeping him home.

Lots of similarities with these signees. Can Sheldon Canley and Lucky Sutton be like another combo of Donnell Pumphrey and Rashard Penny? I do like the olinemen that we signed. Looks like Goff got his pulling guards for sweeps. Big assist for the Canley/Sutton duo.

About time for the Aztecs to get the Kusi's Silver Pigskin winner and sign to play for SDSU. Ryan Lindley won the Silver Pigskin Award and stayed home to play for the Aztecs. Add any other Silver Pigskin winners that decided to play for SDSU.

Understand it may not be the Big Headline but getting a Quality OL from Cathedral Catholic is also Very Important
Hope we can establish a good relationship with their HC

Like I said on another thread…… This guy is the next great Aztec RB, he keeps his balance and finishes his runs. Lucky Sutton and Sheldon Canley, that’s a thunder and lightning combination right there!

Seems to have excellent vision and balance but lacks breakaway speed that Rashaad has. Kind of reminds of Greg Bell but hoping he'll be better.

Don’t be fooled by the video. Cathedral plays against the best. High school film can be misleading if you don’t know the quality of the opponent on the film. Sutton is the real deal.

Add any other Silver Pigskin winners that decided to play for SDSU. Well, do any of the following count? Dillon Baxter (2009), Patrick Gates (2003), Jahmon McClendon (2018) My guess would be no, as none of them stuck.

I like Sutton better than Bell because Sutton doesn’t get knocked off his stride or pushed over at first contact. Bell goes through the holes pretty well, but tends to get tripped up before he can break into the open field. Sutton is a hard to tackle freight train, who is fast enough….but may find an extra gear with some additional coaching and physical development. He ran through some of the best HS defenses in SoCal like they were nothing. I’m not sure why some of the higher profile schools didn’t offer, but I’m glad he wants to be an Aztec.

Yes Bell did not break many tackles. t seemed like the first guy that hit him he went down.

Greatest signing since Marshall Faulk. Finally, a blue chip recruit and that is staying home. Aztecs also signed a good TE. This will end the short lived Air Hoke "passing game" era that all the boosters wanted to see. Fat nasty hogs on the OL, huge double TE set, a QB that can hand off the rock, block, and run 2 boot legs a game, and Lucky Sutton. All my dreams are comning true.
