Meant to post this yesterday, but here goes.
Some of us (at least a few) were around on the 22nd of November, 1963. I'm wondering where you were you were the day of the Kennedy assassination. Also, how old were you then and what were you doing?
As for me, I was just leaving at the end of an 11am class at SDSU when someone came in with the news. My fiancé (wife #1, Erik's mom) and I, for some reason, walked through the old library (not the original, which was used when my mother was a student here in the 1930s). People were crying.
Those were the worst four days of my life.

My brother and sister, on the other hand, we're in 7th and 8th grade, and they said everybody was crying. This was in San Marcos.

Sitting in history class in 10th grade. A lot of shock and disbelief. School closed early, walked home, my mother had the news on the old B&W TV. I had a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that someone would want to kill a president in 1963. A sad day for our nation and unfortunately not the last due to: "Nutz with guns". JMO
