Major test for CSU will be their game with Alabama .
As most said when they selected CSU to be the top team in the MW - it really helps when you have almost all your team back from the previous season and 2 of them could be first team MW . They have a top player inside and one at a guard spot so they should be a good team . If you remember they even beat the Aztecs last season in a game at the V
We lost 3 starters that provided most of our offense and numerous other categories .
Article in Monday UT from Zeigler - Matt B is still adjusting to the Aztec style of play on both ends of the court . He also has to play a lot more defense then he did at CAL when scoring was his primary duty . Some say that a lot of running that you do on defense - can tire your legs out and affect your offense and just tire yourself . Matt is a very good transfer but as it usually is with transfers - they have to adjust to their team mates and new style of play . Malachi was "fortunate " to have a red shirt season to learn . Chad and TD are also trying to learn the systems that take awhile . Joshua is still learning as is Trey .

They love to choke leads in games in their out of conference schedule. That weakens the strength of our conference from an analytical perspective. Then they beat us by 3 in conference play, and it looks like a bad loss because they choked off so many wins earlier in the year. |
