So frustrating. But would we rather have Lucas Johnson throw for 250 yards with 2 TDs and 3 INTs per game and be 6-3 or 5-4? What’s the 3rd choice? |

What’s y’all’s line on this projected 9-4 season? We gonna make a pool? I’m taking our boys in that one.
Ya, it is verrry possible. Nevada is playing good ball, Boise is clearly a good team w a mediocre record - it’s a weird year for them. So, what’s y’all’s thoughts on odds/line on finishing (w the bowl) at 9-4?

I wonder if we can get Al Borges out of retirement? Oldie Out He couldn't do worse than Heck. Horton could do worse than Heck, he DID do worse than Heck, but there aren't many people out there who could do a worse job. The offense needs a complete revamp. A total overhaul. HOLD ON TO YOUR LUG NUTS - IT'S TIIIIIIME FOR AN OVERHAUL!!! It really is. |

What’s y’all’s line on this projected 9-4 season? We gonna make a pool? I’m taking our boys in that one. Ya, it is verrry possible. Nevada is playing good ball, Boise is clearly a good team w a mediocre record - it’s a weird year for them. So, what’s y’all’s thoughts on odds/line on finishing (w the bowl) at 9-4? 9-3 in the regular season? I'd put the odds at 3 to 1 in favor of 9-3. 9-4 overall? I'd put those odds at about 5 to 2. The defense is looking a little tired - they've had to carry this team for too long. The offense is pathetic. When we go up against teams with high powered offenses and decent defenses we're in big trouble. |

What’s the 3rd choice? a QB and a game plan that can keep the defense honest and not stack the box with 8 or 9 players near the LOS. They know this team can not and will not throw beyond 10-15 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. |

How about a QB that throws on average for 200 yards, but has the capability to throw for 300 should the situation demand it, and maaaaybe even huck one downfield now and again when the defense absolutely dares him to? We just seem incredibly, incredibly limited to this rock fight style. it's painful to watch. |

Nevada struggled to beat SJSU. Boise looked great against Fresno, but lost to Hawaii and AF. We’ll be in every game - we could lose 2, but we could also win 3. And what if we win 3, even if they’re ugly wins?

What the hell kinda offense you gonna run if you're forced to start a QB only capable of running the triple-option and your offense is not the triple-option?
Bet it's gonna be a lot worse than the mess produced last night.
Heck isn't the issue. It's Hoke and his choice in QB1.

They know this team can not and will not throw beyond 10-15 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. This is an extremely easy offense to defend. You don't even have to guard for the deep ball since the odds of the QB completing the pass to a wide open WR are dismal. If you're an OC, this is like calling a game with both hands tied behind your back while blindfolded. There's nothing the OC can do sans get a better QB or simply run the triple-option. Since he's not an option coach and he's forced to start a terrible QB, you get the bile from last night. |

Hecklinski has been trash since the day he stepped on campus. We went cheap on salary and have paid the price ever since no creativity, no qbs, running game has gotten worse
He is the "QB" Coach. Enough. |

CSUF couldn't beat UH on the road.
We passed both of those tests.

What I mentioned last week has made one more progression.
We are remaining status quo with a nugatory offense. The defense may allow us to stumble through the remainder of the season.
That may get us into a bowl wherein we must deal with a "real" team, who'll lance this pustulant, bulging and pulsing boil, some call an "offense".
