There's a plethora of evidence out there on Carlson and this BS conspiracy. It's crystal clear from your limited posting history that you're choosing to be disingenuous and obtuse, while offering zero counter evidence of your own. Haha. Ya, I'm the one being "obtuse" and "disingenuous." You guys regurgitate garbage straight from mainstream media talking points with incredible disrespect against anyone who dares have a differing view. You offer 0 evidence for your own opinions or, when you do, it's some comical link to an absurdly biased source that an 8 year old could poke holes in. You forget, I was a registered Republican from 1986 until this last January. I'm still in favor of several conservative ideals (strong national defense, strong law enforcement, more efficient government, etc). Sadly, the last few times the Republicans were in charge of everything they EXPANDED government, hardly making it more efficient. So as someone who was a long time supporter of the Republicans I can see where Carlson is lying his ass off. And when he's not lying, he's stretching the truth to the breaking point. He's giving warped views of reality which are intended to manipulate his audience and make them pliable to the idea that things like January 6th were good, and that a full blown coup may be neceesary to keep those evil libs from gaining further control of the government through, "Rigged," elections. He's a scumbag. He's a traitor, as are many people in the modern Republican party. I recognize it because I have been on the inside and I know just how much they would have been opposed to this kind of thing 30 years ago. This is a new low, and that's why I changed my voter registration to Independent.

Not sure why you even bring that up. Perhaps to virtue signal your supposed centrality? Your hatred for Tucker Carlson is bizarre and your reasons for him being a "treasonous scumbag" are weak. His crime? Asking questions you don't approve of.

And I brought up my political views have been to prove that I don't have an Anti-Republican or Anti-Conservative bias. I'm pro conservative on a lot of issues. So I am not opposed to conservative commentators in general, just the ones who aid and abet a coup attempt.

And you'd have to pay me to spend the time and energy required to get you out the door, let alone to water. So, goodnight. I won't speak further on this topic. You really need to expand your sources of information beyond MSNBC or the equivalent. You're a remarkable example of how effective influence operations can be.

Can't we just ignore him? Giving Tucker the spotlight is like polishing a turd! Just get away from it, it stinks!

And trolling IS against forum rules. It will bring the ban hammer down if it continues.

You're really just embarrassing yourselves further talking about censoring someone with opposing views for standards no one else is held to. Rest assured, I've said my piece on Tucker Carlson and don't need to comment anymore on the subject. My earlier comment about the gap in information between where I think some of you are and where I'm at wasn't really meant to be an insult. My point is that we won't be able to bridge that without extensive back and forth and that's just not worth it. Sorry for keeping the conversation on a superficial level.

He STRONGLY asserts it as a possiblity, states that he believes it's true - even though there is clear evidence that it is false (and no legitimate evidence to back up such an outlandish, partisan fairy tale). That's what he does. He presents misinformation, couched as opinions and beliefs, and his viewers believe it to be fact when, in fact, these claims are almost always absolute falsehoods. LIES presesnted as opinions and sold to the sheep. Strongly asserting something is a possibility is still not claiming it as fact. There is no "clear evidence" that what he is saying is false. You're just dismissing the evidence he provides. I'm curious how you feel about other commentators from other outlets such as MSNBC who make far more outlandish or actual lies denigrating people you disagree with? For instance, Rachel Maddow actually does lie on a regular basis to her viewers. Or is this kind of thing ok because it's coming from your tribe? Lawyers for both Maddow and Tucker have claimed in court that any reasonable viewer would know that their show is opinion and not based in fact. So why would you believe Tucker doesn't lie but Maddow is different? Do you have a blind spot that wants to believe Tucker's opinion? Or are you hiding behind BS posturing? You know, 'some people are saying that the FBI is behind this'. 'Could this be what liberals want' It is opinion and manipulation. Wait? What? That's not a lie, some people did say that. I swear. I heard two of them in my production meeting about today's show and they said the very same thing. You should recognize it on both sides. If you can't see Tucker's bias then you are part of his following.

Or are you hiding behind BS posturing?"I've acknowledged that Tucker has a bias. Why do I claim Rachel Maddow lies? Because of things she says. It goes beyond just the realm of opinion. Case in point: "Trump is a racist. All Trump supporters are racist. The Russia Dossier is 100% factual. Nick Sandmann is a white supremacist. Rittenhouse is a white supremacist." These kinds of comments are false and defamatory. Her parent company and media affiliates are routinely sued over these kinds of claims. She regularly makes statements of fact that are literally made up out of whole cloth. In contrast, Tucker almost always provides a rational foundation for his commentary. "Similar things to X have happened in the past, similar things are happening now, therefore we should at least question X." You may disagree with his conclusions, or even his logic, but there is some basis there for what he is saying.

You're right. It's biased opinion, and then there's the one's who flat out defame others, and lie. A person can pick and choose what slant they want to hear, by going to either Fox, or CNN.

Tucker in an interview this year said this “I guess I would ask myself, like, I mean, I lie if I’m cornered or something. I lie. I really try not to. I try never to lie on TV. I just don’t — I don’t like lying. I certainly do it, you know, out of weakness or whatever" Those are his words. If you choose not to believe the man that is on you.

At least he's honest in that quote of all things, and admits it, LOL, unlike just about ALL the other's on both Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc....
