Not confirmed, but well informed speculation here:
Trey White, LB, Eastlake. Committing tomorrow on KUSI.
Ryan Crum, QB, Norco. Committing Thursday after his unofficial visit.
Go Aztecs. Go to the last 3 home games.

What's the true size of this kid, I have seen everything from 6'1"-215lb's to 6'4" 235lb's, he does look bigger then 215lb's |

He’s not fast enough to be a LB. he’ll bulk up and be a great DE for us.

White looks prototypical, thick bodied, lays the wood on his tackles, a thumper. He reminds me of Calvin Munson in the way he attacks the ball carrier, you can feel the hits from the sidelines. Not the fastest dude on the field but makes plays. Also plays running back, he loves the contact on both sides of the ball. He looks like he can hurt someone's kid.  Oldie Out |

The odd thing about White is his list of finalists. I don't doubt that he's a coveted LB, but his finalists aren't what you'd expect from a stud recruit (aside from SDSU).

P5's offer a lot a 3*'s - more than 4*'s overall (given significantly more of them), so it's odd not to see him with offers from ASU, Cal, etc. Or even other MWC teams. Very odd. If this were July I'd get it - teams weren't this far along with their recruiting calendar, but at this stage teams have expanded their lists considerably. Compare this to Butler's....both are rated about the same overall, but Butler's list was much more impressive. Doesn't mean White's not great. It's just an odd list. |
