Visions of possible commercials dance in my head. So Republicans don't want tax cuts, interesting. Republicans will get their current tax policy extended. They want to avoid a huge Jan 1 Obama tax hike. What is interesting how we frame the issue.

"Republicans will get their current tax policy extended."Yes, if Obama kisses the feet of the conservative Gods. And if he does, he is likely to lose my vote. Good, but I don't think that is what will happen. Either the tax cuts get extended or made permanent along with extending the unemployment insurance now or something even better for Republicans if they have to wait till the new Congress is sworn in and they have to do it retroactive. I don't think Obama has any choice but to cave. It will not be enough to get the "True Believers" to jump ship.
