Araiza is phenomenal. To date, he is far and away our MVP. Talk about field position change and momentum! He is going to be one of the first players taken in the NFL draft. His punting is spectacular, but the fact that he is also an effective place kicker and could be a backup in that capacity will attract many GM’s attention.

He's just a junior with at least 1 year remaining so hopefully that draft isn't for a while. 4th-5th round may be a little optimistic though but there's still time. |

According to Phil Steele's 2021 mag. Araiza is just a sophomore this season. Could he be wrong? That would mean we get to enjoy his kicking for 2 and 1/2 more seasons! |

Go Aztecs! You can add a tackle to his stats for the week. He made a nice form tackle against the returner. Usually when a kicker makes a tackle it's not far from where he originally kicked it. But Araiza 's been making them way down field. Unheard of for a kicker. |

He is listed as a junior, but as with all athletes he gets an extra year because of Covid… so he could play two years after this year if he wants. |
