Before the season began, Kecklinski said they'd be targeting their playmakers. He said he planned to target Bellinger 12 times/game. Last week they threw to him twice. Once was an uncatchable pass that landed well short and the other was in o/t. Has there been a single quick slant to Byrd in 3 games? No. A less obvious offensive omission is the nonuse of Armstead in the 4th quarter (or at all). They run the ball just about every play to wear down the opponents defense to the point of arm tackling in the latter stages of the game. Why not use the 5' 11" 230lb Armstead to run over and through the worn out defense? Some of these issues seem so obvious and yet...

Looks like Bell may be injured and our offense looks terrible. We seem to, once again, be playing down to our opponent. I have some things to do and we usually play better if I'm not watching or listening to the game. I'll check back and see how we are doing in an hour or so. I don't feel good about what is happening.
