Does anybody know if the Aztecs vs Towson state is going to be televised and if so where? Here we go again chasing our TV coverage and we wonder why we're not happy with this conference. goaztecs.com is always a great place to start when looking to see where the game is being broadcast. Per goaztecs.com, as others have said, it's on Stadium streaming. I'll be watching it through my Roku. Should be available on smart TVs and most other streaming devices.Exactly, and typically the norm when a G5 plays a FCS program.

I'm a little surprised it's even on at all. In the past some of these type games haven't been shown at all. But, since there were home games I got to see the game and just missed on watching a replay at home. Not the Stadium I want to use to see the game, but better than nothing. A few years ago I'd made the 2 hour or so drive. Just glad I can still make the 1+ hour drive down to San Diego for the games there.

Looking at social media, Oahu alone has tons of Anti-vaxxers living there. Oldie Out We had to postpone our Maui trip scheduled for this Saturday since their gov recommended tourists not to come to the islands. Just in case I didn't want to take a chance of being quarantined. We postponed last year and are going next month. The Oahu numbers have been about 5x worse than Maui. The good news is that they have been going down the last couple of weeks. I doubt they will implement a quarantine (if you are vaccinated), but I don't blame you for holding off.

Cox channel 4 did carry some games which did me no good at all up here in Riverside County. But things have certainly improved from the "good old days" when we never had TV broadcasts and felt lucky to listen to the games on the radio.

The drive to the game was no cash prize. 405 north jammed for no apparent reason that made the drive from PB 2+ hours. But the game was crazy and awesome. I'll be going again. When it looked like we were gagging the game away I thought, "I can't believe I sat in 2.5 hours of traffic for this..." but when we won it quickly became, "Hell YEAH, I would have sat in 5 hours of traffic for that!" Needless to say, the 1.5 hour drive home was sweet

watching the game - have a Q - why would the Aztecs choose to be on the "sunny " side - looking into the Sun ?
Will it be the same this upcoming week for the next game ?

Yes that is so crazy the coaching staff wanted to be on that side. I have seats on the "away" side for that very reason. The sun was in their eyes until 6:30 so 2 1/2 hours. I really would love an explanation of what advantage on being on the sunny side? When I placed my season seat order, I asked why, the reply was "coaching staff decision" Anyway, I love my seats in the shade (even though we were outnumbered by Ute fans) Go Aztecs!

Ucla had a home game Saturday which is one reason for more traffic in the Los Angeles area.50,000+ attended the Fresno game. No one was on the 405 near Long Beach at 1:30 for a 7:00 kickoff in Pasadena. My guess is that 4chan put on its home page that the Carson equestrian center was offering a 2-for-1 on Ivermectin, and people were flocking there to take advantage.

So the game this Saturday starts at 12:30 so will the coaching staff and the players on the sideline be looking into the sun for the whole game this week ?
As a follow up- Maybe is it easier for our QB and defense captain to look at the sunny sideline from the field - ?
Another Q for our experts - after watching the OT - is it easier to kick FG from one end zone or was it just blown FG attempts ?

I imagine they wanted to be on the side with 2 decks. Makes no sense to me. That sun was brutal for the team and fans and will be bad again this Sat.

Somebody needs to tell the equipment staff or the coaching staff that the university has put BIG bucks into their uniform design and scheme and have a great thing going. They are really messing things up with those old school looking Boil-N-Bite mouth pieces in all those different colors, just makes the set up look amateurish like what you see in high school. It really takes away from the cool look of the helmet that seems to be a favorite almost nation wide. The “revised” helmets are starting to get noticed. I even had a guy who know through the industry text me Saturday night from Chicago with a pic of our lids with the comments “sweet helmets. Hope you are well” As frustrating as it was you that for the past 2 seasons you couldn’t see the Aztec Calendar on our helmets on TV - even on an LG OLED and a couple Samsung UHF TVs here- it is very satisfying to now be able to see the design well. Whoever rectified that deserves major kudos. Even though it may seem minor, it is not minor IMO … everything little, big and in between is important to our program.

The "sunny side" really only impacts a few games, and as you get later into the season being in the sun on cooler days is an advantage. This week, since it's practically high noon, I'd assume both are in the sun for much of the time. For the 9 AM game vs. Boise they may actually be in the sun as it's rising not setting. The only other possibility is New Mex, where the kick time is TBD but most likely won't be 1 or even 3 PM. The other possibility is the locker rooms might be better or more efficient on that side than the other side. At the end of the day it really doesn't matter. Both teams have to deal with any sun (or lack thereof) on the field.
