A 4.4? Wouldn't even wake me up. I live 20 minutes from Carson and we definitely felt that one. It was a weird one, like a quick, sharp jolt, then a second quick, not quite as sharp sharp jolt a couple seconds later, then about 15-20 seconds of slow rolling. I thought it was a sonic boom or explosion at first. I’ve felt much harder shakes before, but this one was just strange. |

The reason was Hoke and Hecklinski having brain cramps simultaneously that almost cost us a locked in victory. Boom!
