They need to rinse and repeat several more times to get any kind of serious notice… A win next week could help speed the process, though.

You’d have to hope that if we win next week we’d be ranked! Because BYU currently has the exact same resume we would have next week (sans a nosy) and they are currently ranked

MW have Five Legit Teams so far this year: Utah State, Boise, Nevada, Fresno, SDSU

I bet our conference matches up pretty well by the metrics this year... a MW team could get a NY6 bowl.

If Fresno could have pulled out the game against Oregon, or Boise could have held on against UCF... I mean those were both close road games for the MW teams.

Utah State and Boise both still get cracks against YBU, Nevada at KSU, Fresno at UCLA.

Have to wonder if a CFB playoff is possible with an undefeated run by Utah State, Nevada, or SDSU.

Or maybe even if Fresno wins out given that they still play at UCLA and only lost by 7 to the Ducks. Considering that the Ducks won by 7 on the road against Ohio State...

Possibly lazy, loyalist pac12 voters that didn't watch AZ lose to SDSU. Just a guess.

They might be a bad football team.

Arizonia is super bad. They have lost 13 straight games.

Our toughest games wiill be conference games, but no one outside of the mwc will give a sheet.

True, but YBU is ranked now, and a couple of Mountain West teams still get to play them this season.

Those games will be important for assessing the strength of the MW conference.
