so far Brookshire bums me out. He wasn't bad this drive. He got rid of the ball before a sack and hit Matthews in the hands |

Alright, I don’t know football recruiting AT. ALL.
So if this is touchy I don’t mean to be antagonistic. Is there a consensus around why we can’t get a high caliber QB? Is it our playbook and run/pass split?
I get we are not a destination for 5*s and whatnot… but you’d think at some point by sheer luck alone we’d have a GUY.

Yeah, that's the ticket…If they haven't red-shirted him, I can almost guarantee he'll be in there before the end of the season. Brookshire looks no different than before, and if he's the BEST of the three… bring on the fourth. |

At least he was while an assistant at Michigan. As a HC he hasn't done as well when it comes to recruiting.

Our O-Line isn't improved at all in pass blocking. A lot of turnstile technique.

All I remember was his short tenure as HC at Michigan. … after his first season the Wolverines went into a death spiral. However, when he was here before, he had some really good recruits. Don't know what happened. |

I am going to assume that since this is our first game and their second, that we are getting the rust off and will get better. Bell still looks awesome. D was better for the second drive. Gotta stay positive.

Don't know what happened. Brady was very well regarded as a recruiter while an assistant at Michigan. Both Vista HC Dan Williams and Coach Kentera gushed to me in person about how great Brady was as a recruiter back when he got the SDSU HC job the first time. Since then his recruiting has been suspect. |
