"Updated" Aztec Football Helmet

It is the same design since around 2015, but it looks like they modified it (less shiny?) to make it look better at distance and on tv. Seems to match the graphics on the uniform better, can't wait to see it live and on the tele.

The best looking helmet in football.

Problem is, no one can see the design on TV...I hope this change rectifies that issue.

I like some years better than others but have always thought our Unis were the best (or close to it) in The Nation every year. Evidently others must have felt the same look at the number of schools that have black uniforms when there is no black in their school colors.

I thought it was super cool the years when "Men in Black" song would play when our Aztecs were taking the field.

It looks Fantastic!!!!!! The only challenge is that even with the heavier black outlines you will not be able to see it unless they show a closeup
of the players head/helmet like during the game. Just normal shots of head to toe of a player you will not be able to see the design very well.

But, that's OK, I still love it! And no one has anything better! Plus, it is a design that really relates to our Aztecs and their culture!

The MWC has the 2 best helmets in college football.

#2 would be Hawai'i. They added #15 to the side of the helmet with a map of Hawai'i to honor the late, great, Colt Brennan.

Here we go again with another school using black as their primary color when it isn't part of the official colors. Minnesota playing Ohio State at home with a maroon and gold logo in the middle of their field, but their players come out in 100% black unis? What is up with that?

UNLV wore all black with a red logo. Ripoff...
