Padres acquire Jake Marisnick from the Cubs for Anderson Espinoza.
I hate giving up Espinosa but Jake hits left-handed pitchers:
.295 BA
.500+ SLG
.875 OPS
He should start against every left-hander we face. No matter which Outfield position he plays, he will be a major upgrade.
With our two newcomers in the Outfield against left-handed pitching it resolves a major Padre weakness.
