Here's a news item that I noticed a couple of weeks ago. Want to hear what others make of this. Here's what I read. Michelle Obama, an attractive, charming woman, was featured on the cover of various national magazines 12 times in the 8 year tenure of her husband. That's 6 times per four year term.
Melania Trump is also an attractive woman and I would think also a charming one. In the four years Trump was in office, she was not featured even once on the cover of any magazine.
Of course, there is no law that says she has to be given that opportunity. But, don't you think that it's at least a tiny bit odd that she got no covers and Mrs. Obama got an average of 1.5 a year? After all, Mrs. Trump is neither butt-ugly nor notorious for having a totally unpleasant personality.

AzWm In a sea full of actual events...this hardly qualifies as newsworthy. Melania is not remotely marketable and has the personality of a paperweight. That excuse doesn't work forever. Do you think people are intentionally naive or stupid that they can't discern between the two? Nobody's really fooled by the point you tried to make. You think Melania Trump is "charming"? She plagiarized Michelle Obama's speeches. How charming. Read her statement regarding the insurrection on January 6th. That speaks volumes for a lot of us. |
