I don't remember Robert Kekaula by name. I do know that the a broadcast last year featured two Hawaii locals that were very enjoyable to listen to. I would suspect that he was one of them.

May I suggest a shutdown of this thread, Mr./Ms. Moderator? It has clearly gone the route of the cuckoo clock. Perhaps someone can start a more respectful/rational thread on the unfortunate passing of Mr. Kekaula in another thread. I’ve never seen a thread go as cuckoo as this one. Bizarre to say the least. |

He was my favorite sports announcer ever! I loved playing UH on the road just for him.

He was my favorite sports announcer ever! I loved playing UH on the road just for him. Same. I was at a game when we played at Hawaii once and I listened to the game on headphones at the stadium just to listen to him. He was incredible. |

In 1957 when I was six years old my parents moved me to Thailand with them for a year. I had to get 10 vaccinations in two days. Five shots each time. Was it safe? I don't know. Sometimes it is necessary to take a small risk. When I got the original polio vaccine back in '50s some cases of the disease were, in fact, caused by the vaccine. We knew that this was a possible risk but got the shot anyway. We knew that it was important and that it would save lives so we did it. But we weren't just thinking of ourselves. Sometimes a risk is necessary to save lives. |

To be honest, even the inventor of MRNA vaccines, Dr. Robert Malone, has come out with some serious questions regarding the genetically engineered vaccines and the lack of transparency as it pertains to their EUA. That being said, Robert Kekaula's death could be due to anything - though a sudden "natural" death is generally either a cardiac event or a stroke. Hawaii ranks pretty bad when it comes to obesity in its population. |
