I would give Meeks and Jenkins a look. I have no idea how they are as people, which is important in our program, but they're pretty good players. Meeks is an active big and Jenkins can clearly shoot the ball. Can they play defense, or at least dedicate themselves to defense? That's also a question mark.
Not surprised that so many players are leaving UNLV. TJ was a fine coach. To say Kruger is an unknown quantity is an understatement for the rest of us. But if these kids, who know him, are passing judgment with their feet, then the initial signs aren't good.

Jenkins for sure, should be about as good a shooter as Gomez, but a much better defender, could be heading to Iowa State... Milling is a maybe, pretty mobile and can shoot the three

I don't keep track of this stuff as close as you but I'd like to keep track of our conference mates. If you have updates/corrections, I'll update the first post. EDIT: Thanks, will update list.

I was watching him a lot when we played, and he was the one guy on that team that jumped out at me thinking he would be a great Aztec. S T U D

Not sure why we're talking about going after intraconference transfers? It's not happening in the MWC.
Jenkins is supposedly looking at going back home to UW.

Believe Nevada has Added to their roster of incoming players
4* Will Baker 7ft from Texas Longhorns ( not sure if he is mid season transfer ? )
Also Addison Patterson another 4* 6'6" from the Ducks - not sure when he would be eligible
Cowboys 2 * Brendan Wenzel 6'6" from Utah - not sure when he would be eligible

Assuming the new transfer rule goes through they'll both be eligible from day 1 making them (currently) the preseason favorite in the conference. Many of the transfers leaving the MWC were walk-ons who will have no impact. Only about 3-4 will actually have a negative impact, and Jenkins is debatable considering he had several run-ins with TJ & was benched at times. A couple of those guys, like a Grill or Tillis, may end up returning to UNLV.

Bryce Hamilton has announced he will explore the NBA Draft process, transfer or draft he may be out. He'd be dumb not to put his hat into the draft & at least test the waters, albeit for a 3rd time. Last year he didn't have a chance to go through organized workouts, so if that ends up happening he can at least do so. But he's nowhere near any draft boards from what I hear - he'd most likely be seeking a 2-way contract, and he really doesn't have any NBA measurables (not tall, long or quick). IMO Jordan has a better chance of being drafted than Hamilton. I doubt he transfers, but you never know. Kruger actually supported his decision, and has more than been in his camp. He hasn't put his name in the portal, although that can always happen with anyone... “We have encouraged him to go through the process and obtain feedback from the league so that he can make the best decision for himself and his family,” Kruger said. “We will assist him every step of the way and if he decides to return to UNLV, he will be welcomed back with open arms.”

He's strong, but I wouldn't say he has your prototypical NBA body. He's only 6'3-ish, apparently, and not lighting fast for someone of that size & definitely not a 3 & D player. He's just a bad fit, other than the fact when he's on a roll he can be tough to stop. But that's at the college level, so....
