It is shocking to absolutely no one that a tweet labeling the First Amendment a "national security threat" would be something you'd like. At least you are consistent with your disdain for the Constitutional protections enumerated in the Bill of Rights. Yeah, spend less time being a fool and brush up on your knowledge. Specific exception for "speech that incites imminent lawless action" exists since 1919, in Schenck v. United States. Now, sit in the corner and be quiet. The adults are talking. You're embarrassing at how much you pander to a president who would sell you down the river and not think twice. Thanks for supporting a racist and a con artist, your country thanks you while quietly laughing at you.

I don’t know about the rest of you posters, but I’m concerned. There is wholesale discord in our country and our current political leaders seem very inept. Well, one for sure. But the rest aren't far behind. This is the work of one man who capitalized on the unintelligent and the fringe radicals to divide a country. With both bodies of Congress adjourning until after the inauguration, we are basically left to see how much more damage the president can do in the next 13 days.

The same number of people died during this insurrection as died at Benghazi. Do you think Darrel Issa will spend the next 2 years holding congressional hearings on it?

The same number of people died during this insurrection as died at Benghazi. Do you think Darrel Issa will spend the next 2 years holding congressional hearings on it? It was the Behghazi investigation that uncovered the illegal server Hillary was running to circumvent government oversight and retention laws. America is more secure because of those investigations. Similarly, I do hope they have 2 years of congressional hearings to investigate the causes and responses that led to the events witnessed yesterday. I would very much like to see an in-depth report tracking every single instance of voter fraud, the people involved, and the steps taken to make sure it never happens again. Everyone knew going in to the election that mail-in voting would call the election in to question. That is why it is banned in most countries around the world. We should have a report documenting the security issues with mail-in voting and the civil unrest that can arise out of a lack of trust over elections held via that method so we can join the rest of the world in ending the practice forever.

Articles of Impeachment have been drafted by 3 members of the House of Representatives. Congress has adjourned, but could be called back into emergency session.

Okay adult who has brushed up on your knowledge, please explain why you used a decision (Schenck v. United States) that was almost entirely overturned by Brandenburg v. Ohio in 1969. Is it because you don't know what you were talking about, read a tweet from someone who shared Woodrow Wilson's 1919-era disdain for the US Constitution, and lacked the critical thinking skills to double check it? Encouragement of imminent specific illegal acts against a specific identifiable person is not protected by the First Amendment but nearly everything else fails to reach the bar of being "illegal incitement". Imminent lawless action occurred yesterday, if you count armed insurrection and are scoring at home.

Awoman to that China has ruined our 2020 and probably will most of 2021 and now, because of you and others, we have the compromised Biden Crime Family ready to lead us in our struggle against them. Blindness, it seems, is in the eye of the beholder. yaya..and your shopping cart prolly had a bunch of Walmart 5 years ago...it was only 90% Chinese including the farmed shrimp and catfish. Waltons were far left Dems I heard. Im sure you also rejected the low electronics prices at the electronics stores as well..cause they said China on them. It actually was a team effort. as much as you would like to make it a black n white issue. Oh...how could I forget the made in China maga hats...nice try. Try again... world101.cfr.org/global-era-issues/trade/what-happened-when-china-joined-wtothefederalist.com/2020/10/16/explosive-emails-show-joe-biden-stood-to-profit-from-son-hunters-chinese-business-deals/duckduckgo.com/?q=video+of+chinese+professor&t=chromentp&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DEh9r-MBkcVMtimesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/trump-calls-nafta-china-entry-into-wto-as-most-disastrous-deals-in-history/articleshow/77989525.cmswww.youtube.com/watch?v=Neatn5Sp8Hw&feature=emb_logoBlaming the consumer for our situation with China? Really? If a person buys a cell phone made in China (besides not having many, if any, alternatives), they are simply taking care of personal and family obligations and not endorsing China's trade and political policies. They are not privy to info/policy/legislation of China's tariffs/closed markets, theft of our company's intellectual property, product dumping, currency manipulation, national/military expansionism, briberies, pandemic causing biological research, etc. Just as Liberals use tax software, it would be cheezy and unfair to say they are all just hypocrites as they ask others to pay more taxes as they are paying the legal minimum. They are simply taking care of their obligations to law and family. It is entirely reasonable.

Imminent lawless action occurred yesterday, if you count armed insurrection and are scoring at home. You’ve misunderstood that entirely. The measure of what makes something incitement isn’t if someone was incited. That is why Bernie Sanders wasn’t arrested after some nut was incited by his speech to shoot up a Congressional Baseball game. If you actually want to understand what is and is not incitement under our legal system, listen to the link with the ACLU lawyer talking. It was recorded before the events of yesterday and so isn’t trying to force any narrative.

But the rest aren't far behind. This is the work of one man who capitalized on the unintelligent and the fringe radicals to divide a country. With both bodies of Congress adjourning until after the inauguration, we are basically left to see how much more damage the president can do in the next 13 days. When the mainstream news media (who hate Trump with the utmost intensity) claim it was Trump supporters, I’m inclined to believe that it was actually imbedded Antifa activists, that’s what they do and that is what they have done many times previously to this incident. The problem is a HUGE segment (50 mil +) of Americans have lost confidence in our electoral system.....not good. This MUST BE FIXED if our election system is to retain any credibility. The simple fix is: 1). Mandatory voter ID laws which umbrella every state and territory. You need an ID to use a credit card, it makes sense to have one when you vote. 2). Eliminate vote by mail. Absentee ballots are fine since they are vetted by the local registrar, but the bags of ballots collected from who knows where are a recipe for fraud. 3). Observers from both parties must have full access to the count at all times. Denial of this should mean a federal offense. Before you Biden supporters start partying and smoking your medicinal marijuana in celebration, here is an Aztec analogy to how Trump voters actually see the past two months: Imagine if we are watching an important SDSU vs BYU game in football. It’s a close game. The Aztecs are up 14-10 and have the ball on their own 30 with 1:15 left in the game. Then, unexpectedly the power in Lavell Edwards Stadium goes out for 30 min. It suddenly comes back on and the scoreboard reads BYU 24 SDSU 14. Coach Hoke protests, the players are stunned and the Aztec Fans are very upset. The refs get on the mic and say, “BYU ball, the game clock operator will reset the clock to :10 seconds.” The TV announcers on ESPN say “in a stunning reversal.....it now appears that BYU has beaten SDSU and will be the NCAA Football National Champions.” The NCAA refuses to look at the footage or rule on the game, mostly because they hate Hoke’s guts and the BYU Cougars go on defeat the SDSU Aztecs for the National Championship. The fact is our government media complex did very little to assuage the appearance of impropriety. Calls of national unity fall on deaf ears when requests for a comprehensive investigation are ignored. If the election was totally legitimate, the Dems should not fear any scrutiny. Because they obviously do, 70+ million Trump voters feel rightfully disenfranchised.

There is such a thing called surveillance video (and there are a TON of cameras in the Capitol) - Most of the major players have already been identified. They are all Trump supporters, Parler members and MAGA believers. One of the most idiotic things I have seen today is Mo Brooks, a House member from Alabama calling the terrorists "Fascist Antifa"....You literally can't make this stuff up. You have to be smarter than this or you're as foolish as the cult base you represent. If you were tricked into armed insurrection by members of Antifa, how dumb does that sound? I realize logic is difficult in some cases, but there is zero validity to this. Facial recognition software (since nobody seemed to care to hide their identity) easily verifies all of it. Stop being stupid. And to the rest of your diatribe, amid laughter, no. If you didn't care about voter suppression, you don't get to climb back to the other side. It's as absurd as the Republicans in Pennsylvania arguing against Act 77, legislation they put in place by a vote of 105-2, then complaining about it when they didn't get the results they wanted. Mail-in ballots do not indicate any type of fraud, as has been proven for YEARS in the states that have used the system exclusively.
