Idiocy and lawlessness is what it is regardless of who does it. But I guess I won't want to hold my breath waiting for CNN to call it "mostly peaceful" protests. We don't expect you to just have any sort of integrity, it's okay. Sedition, treason and fascism though do not belong on Capitol Hill, or anywhere else, frankly. You don't have to like the results of the election, but we don't do dictators here. Here's the difference : Protests across America (not the ones you saw on television) were largely peaceful demonstrations. The exceptions in various cities included agitators on both sides of the spectrum. Today, it's one group. It's armed militia/fascist terrorists, under urging of the POTUS, Confederate sympathizers who seek to overturn an election, backing a morally bankrupt grifter who has destroyed America. If there's a hill to die on, pick someone actually worth dying for. Donald Trump is a subpar president and an even worse human being who isn't even a Republican. In two weeks, he's out on his ass. |

What assassination of police officers? Do you mean the one who in Las Vegas who was confirmed to be a right-wing agitator? Any kind of violence like what we are seeing today is unacceptable. Neither had anything to do with a political movement. Mental illness in service members is a real and unfortunate byproduct of war. Again, where's your outrage in Las Vegas for the Boogaloo member who shot a police officer in the face? Consistency here. Violence against police officers is wrong. So is police officers taking selfies with terrorists. |

You and others on here supported this guy no matter how crazy he got. What happened yesterday was not a surprise, and was predicted by many, especially people who know trump much better than you and I. This guy did things in the last 4 years that were red flag after red flag. OK, I get the abortion, guns , God stuff..but at some point dont you have to rebel against the leader of the free world when its obvious he is off the deep end and a threat to America? If Biden went nuts, do you think me, Ryan, Fishin, etc. would support him through thick and thin? answer is no. All we got was TDS. You guys own Trump now and have to share some of the blame...you were warned repeatedly about what was happening. ⁹ |

If we would stop ripping up the Constitution, we have a map for how to get out of this mess. We were in a mess worse than this one in 1919. - The Spanish Flu wiped out more Americans than COVID just did.
- We got out of WWI with over 100,000 Americans dead.
- The economy was in a recession deeper than the Great Depression.
- America’s most popular sport was discovered to be rigged.
- The American President in office was permanently incapacitated by a stroke.
What did we do? Nothing. We did nothing. Woodrow Wilson was medically incapacitated and his wife took care of routine duties but she didn’t know how to handle any of these huge issues so she didn’t. Then a crazy thing happened. America showed signs of life. The American system doesn’t need talented leadership in the government. The American system is self-correcting. In 1920, a new President was voted in and he continued Edith Wilson’s successful approach of doing nothing and it turned into the Roaring 20’s. The economic depression now labeled “The Forgotten Depression” fixed itself in 18 months with no stimulus, no interest rate cuts, no government programs of any kind, no amazing leadership. The government isn’t the solution to the problem. Government *IS* the problem. We would all be better off right now if Trump, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom, all the Congressmen, and all the Senators would stay away from Twitter and off the cameras, and rescind all Executive Orders. We don't need better leadership. We need all of these people in government to stop leading their factions and let the system heal itself like it is designed to do. |
