Too bad I liked the kid, my hope is he finds a place where his confidence improves and that we do not face him in the future.

Sure the Aztec coaches do as they usually do . Put their name out there when some one they have any type of interest in then wait to see if there is a reply
As most are pointing out every school is doing the same thing but it seems the P6 schools are most likely to get the first shot at getting a response - similar to the recruiting of HS players .

After watching a clip on Alex Tchikou, I was impressed and would be going after him aggressively. What I saw was a kid with good handles, a good shooting stroke that could step out with range and for a big guy he is a good dribbler. I get the injury but the potential especially offensively has not been common here for the 5 spot. In many ways he seems similar to Wetzel offensively although with maybe more range.

Mizzu just had a couple of their better players enter the portal , as did ASU , Utah , VWU ....
the key of course is who responds back that they have interest in the Aztecs ?
Think Zeigler said that there can be visits the remainder of the month , then another time in Mid April ? possibly during "Dead Recruiting Time "
Definitely a lot of work for the coaches .
Saw some teams in MM that did quite well with the Portal this past year( Iowa State - Texas Tech ....) - so most schools are out there looking and unfortunately the P6 teams usually get the better players .
Same as we talk about when recruiting HS players - you can yell pick me all day and night but it is the transfer that gets to choose what schools they want to consider

We, also, offered Frank Anselem back in '20, however he opted to sign with Syracuse. He only played in four games during his true freshman year, however he played 14.2 minutes per game, in 32 games, as a back-up this last year (Redshirt year?). Anyway, he has entered the transfer portal, if anybody is interested. 247: Frank Anselem

I'm sorry if my post, two weeks before you updated the off-topic thread offended you as being a repeat post.
