Didn’t play at all last year due to personal reasons? I think Marfo is preferred, but we need a backup C, maybe starting C depending on Mensah.

This would be one of the larger dudes to step on campus. Not sure how nimble he is and if he can run the floor. Others might prefer someone else but we have to get a 4/5 down low post person. Our biggest need. All our current bigs are green or have health concerns. If Flynn goes, I might go two bigs. Sounds like a brother combination could be interesting.

7'3?
Can Mensah play minutes at the 4 if this guy were at Center? Of course they could spell each other and both rotate at the 5, but I'm sure there'd be times we'd want both in the game.

Keep Nathan at the 5 and bring in Mattias or Marfo as a 4 reserve 5. Either would start at 4 back up 5 and would get 30 minutes plus a game. Both of these bigs are not stiffs but are more nimble for their size. Have not seen interest by Marfo other then teams pursuing player.u

I would definitely take this guy. 7' 3" shot blocker and scorer who runs the floor. I actually think you could play him at the 4. youtu.be/evYQT20Mt80

ARE WE CERTAIN THAT Markusson is big enough to even play the five?

7'3" and 270lbs. Nah, way too small But, I think his game translates well at the 4. He has a midrange jumper and a nice hook. Dunks instead of missing layups like Yanni did quite a few times.

He looks agile for 7'3 on film, but I doubt he's agile enough to play the 4 defensively in a lot of cases. Having Mensah + him on the court at the same time would probably limit our switching too much on defense. If he came I bet he'd backup Mensah (depending on matchups), which would be excellent to have

If ya really want some hookers around, then get Pitino on the staff.

We need front court help. My question is after Nathan missed 2/3 of the season with a respiratory issue (pulmonary embolism) how does he stack up compared to the Grand Transfers we are recruiting? Markusson and Marfo? or do we recruit Morgan and let him sit a year?

No need to concentrate on the 5 position with Morgan on board
