Everyone will look at the turnovers, which are bad, and the opponent FG%, which is bad too; but I submit the limited output by Yanni Wetzel as a key issue with this team over the past few games.
Nevada won't keep up this lights out shooting, and we won't turn it over like this next half. BUt we need Yanni to produce more to be as good as we want to be.

This isn't what I expected, is Nathan Mensah that big a cog? Yea, he prevents layups inside and affects alot of shots. Plus, lets Wetzell have more space and freedom on offense. Otherwise they double Wetzell easily. We have been able to win with small ball but we need Mensah back! |

Wetzell looks as slow right now as he has for the past few games. He was much quicker earlier on…

We need to give him a replacement more often. Not sure why we have not brought any other C in at this point. Really need NM back. |

They've got to do something about Harris in the 2nd half. Harris has a big 1st half at Viejas, we shut him down in the 2nd half. This game feels a lot different though |

Seiko and Arop aren't + players...Schakel and Flynn have butter fingers tonight. There's a palpable lack of focus with this team. Flynn is the only thing keeping us at all afloat. He had that one roll off his leg, that doesn't mean he has butterfingers. Wetzell has been awful |

We will only go as far as our bigs take us......Our guards and forwards are solid.....
Yanni has been a no show for 2 1/2 games....

UNR is shooting lights out right now 55.2% on FG and 50% on 3PT.
SDSU is keeping up with FG, not with 3PT 38.5%, Rebounds are about even.
But the TO has got to go…

Feagin, Mitchell and Flynn are the only players with points. That’s a big reason Aztecs are down by 9 at the half. 10 turnovers also huge.

From what?  We've played very few games the past two weeks.....Dutch has limited practice time.... We're finally being challenged by teams.....Vegas, Co. St. and now Nevada are not playing afraid and are taking it to us.... Better now than the first round of MM..... |
