Looks like J.D. Wicker has made another great selection for our new volleyball coach! For Women (not men!). He is Brent Hilliard, he is just from across town from USD. So, what makes him so interesting and a great plus?! Brent has served as assisant at USD for nineteen years, and they won 9 WCC championships, went to four sweet sixteens, and had many seasons of 20 and more wins! The USD teams qualified for the NCAA 18 out of the nineteen he coached there. He also served as interim Head Coach there in 2006 and 2011. He played volleyball at Long Beach St., and lead the 49er team to a 3-1 victory over USC in the 1991 championship after losing to them the year before. Now, get this: Brent Hilliard is all time NCAA leader in kills with 3034!!! I think Wicker just picked up a very good coach who could take the Aztecs to new heights in women's college volleyball!  |

I'm beginning to change my mind about Wicker. Not only does he seem to have a pair, but he's so far made pretty good decisions regarding replacements.

think USD also has a creative QB coach that has done a lot with their offense would have nice if he was interviewed

Bring back men’s volleyball!! Both you and AzTex are absolutely right! Wish we did have a men's team. I remember the days when I was in school, & went to the men's games when we played teams like UCLA & USC in Peterson's gym. It was electric!!! It really is sad that we don't have a men's team. I wonder if some wealthy alumnus could help bring about a team for the men. Even if it were just a club team, because the games are so exciting!!!  |

With title IX, I propose adding a men's volleyball team and a women's gymnastics team. Neutral would be a men's and women's bowling teams. Get this done, athletic department.
