Are we thinking that New Mexico will be our toughest remaining game? We are thinking whomever is the next opponent will be the toughest remaining game.... At Nevada...it will be senior night and if they can make a lot of 3’s and get us in foul trouble again, it will be a close one.

fly. good road win. Two things to work on eliminating fouls and make layups. It was at least 8 points on missed layups. Some of today's fouls were so called breathing on opposite players. The attendance at Viejas East was 12,287 which may have been a Unlv season high. This win gives SDSU a three and one half lead in the conference standings with 8 games to go. Now the focus is on beating new mexico.

Not sure if it’s shown on TV, but Nathan is on the bench. No way he flies so this has to be good news Yes, I saw him. Did they fly or go by bus? They flew. Aztec Nation represented today. Although it sucked that we got tickets through SDSU ticket office and the section was all mixed up with SDSU and UNLV fans. I though we had an allotment to road games. Bad point of game for me was we had a 7-point lead in the 1st half and Yanni delivers a perfect pass to Seiko for a wide open layup and he misses it. Worse than that, Yanni fouls trying for the rebound. That's his 2nd and he sits out the last 7:27 of the 1st half. That killed us. Loved the early PT Keshad got. I never took my eyes off him and I don't think he lost his man once on defense. And he doubled guys a lot and always got back to his man. AND he didn't take any rushed or forced shots. That was very encouraging. That 3-pointer with 0.1 second left cost me $50 but I don't even care! What a great road trip!!!!!

If I was a gambling man I would put a bunch of cash on State to cover against UNM...
With Bragg they are 12-2 and 4-0 in conference
Without Bragg they are 3-4 and 1-4 in conference with the only win being against SJSU and includes three losses by more than 20 points...
I would be shocked if State loses at UNM...

Although there's some very hopeful rumbling on the Lobo board that some of those guys may return for our game. They're so desperate, one of their big recruits, A 6'8" 230 lbs kid that played in high school a few weeks ago, just enrolled early and may be used. If he is, they've wasted a year of eligibility for a dozen games. He's also coming from sea level so good luck acclimating those first two weeks.

Dutch needs to get Narain or Mensah in with Wetzell. Need size You know I’d love to see Dutch experiment a little with this, putting Yanni back at the 4 for stints. Hopefully a blowout game or two down the road. Not sure Dutch would do it but I think it might be interesting and helpful should Nate make it back at some point.

Free throws down the stretch have made a difference for SDSU. It’s beyond words great to have a bunch of guys who can shoot free throws. Longtime Aztecs are and will Leary’s be scarred for life... but LOVE and appreciate the stellar am clutch FT shooting

I thought the spread favored us by 7 points so you would have lost anyway.

TV showed 2 stats during the game I found interesting:
1. UNLV has made a 3 pointer in 1,092 games in a row....that’s approx 36 years?? Not sure how long the 3 pointer has been around
2. Aztecs have the most road wins against a team...UNLV (can’t remember if there was a time limit, but it was 15)

At Nevada, At New Mexico, At Boise, Utah State (in that order). That road game at Nevada could be the period on an undefeated season! (Actually exclamation point is more accurate)
