'tis amazing what a good talking to can do at half time. more amazing what happens when the correct adjustments are made, and even more so when the refs swallow their whistles and let them play

Ha, I was thinking the same thing. Wonder if it ends up on SVP. I never saw a spread of 13.5. It was pretty consistent at 13 so I doubt many people got action in at 13.5. I had the Aztecs -13.5 with betonline. I rarely bet on SDSU because it's already hard enough to worry through games without adding money into it. Classic bad beat at the end. I hate that Alfred kept his regulars in for that last minute after Dutcher took out his. That's what did it. Don't care. 19-0 soothes all bad beats.

Speaking of bad beats....
USU was up 73 - 67 with 15 seconds left in regulation and then lost to BSU in OT

Yanni is just a man among boys today. I have to give kudos to Arop and Pulliam as well. I do have to say, if we want to run the table in the conference we need either Nolan or Joel to give us quality minutes. Preferably both. Why didn't Nolan play? He was definitely available... He got up and looked like he was going in when they gave Yanni a breather in the first half, but must have changed their minds and sent in Joel instead. So, it's not an injury issue. It's possible that with his internship he might have had to miss some practice time, so Joel got the call over him there.

been watching (sort of) espn the last couple of hours. did I miss them mentioning that the #7 undefeated team in the nation is now 19-0? or are west coast Aztecs still being ignored?

We put our walk ons in with game decided... he leaves his starters in and immediately starts pressing and trapping with under a minute to do. A-hole, NO class

one of the AZTECS best defensive switches happened around the 8 minute mark of the second half. It is time for all basketball fans to get on board and support this team as they attempt to do something, go undefeated for full season and post season, that only the 1976 Indiana team achieved at only 32-0. The 2014-15 Kentucky team was undefeated for 38 games before losing to Wisconsin in the title game. It is a plus that only second place Unlv has one conference loss making each SDSU game that more important. The AZTECS players need to focus on beat Wyoming next game. The third place to 11th place teams have at least 3 losses and will get more as they play each other in addition to their game(s) against SDSU.

As an aside...I was watching a portion of the Clippers game yesterday, and the Aztecs definitely got mentioned. The announcers were talking about Kawhi, they showed some photos of him during his Aztec years and mentioned that his Jersey would be retired on Feb. 1st. Then they talked about the only undefeated team left in college BB. It was good pub.

Please, if I here one more excuse about his internship....Hell, it's for commercial real estate - he's not out saving the world.... I'm just curious if he's hurt again or under the weather.....

They still have to play us, Nevada and Col State twice each. They also still have to play at New Mexico and Utah State, although neither of those are very scary any more.

Says a lot when our previous coach did not like him when he was a loblow.

Yes, against better teams Yanni will need more help than: Nolan: DNP. Nathan: DNP. Joel: 3 minutes, 0 points, 2 fouls (one flagrant), 2 rebounds, with a team-worst -4 plus/minus.
