Dayton hits a three at the OT buzzer to win and #13 Dayton prevails. And here's the point about the significance of the game - this is one teams that we MAY be competing for a 2-or 3 seed in March. Michigan State is almost certainly going to be one of the teams we will be competing against for a 2-3 seed. You want to play in Sacramento? You bet these teams will be competing with us for the honor. You want them to lose.
Let's go Iowa!

Nolan Narain must now step up and contribute in ways he never has before. Great opportunity for a fine young man. Yanni will need his help if we are to move forward. |

Everyone has asked about N Mensah but we haven't heard anything about Joe Mensah for quite a while. I guess it's still his back. Please don't tell us that he's waiting to see a specialist too.

Michigan went from being unrated to being in the Top Ten in one week because they beat North Carolina, who was then #6 and #8 Gonzaga(by 18). They've also beaten Creighton, Purdue and Iowa but have zero real road wins. They've lost 3 of their last 4 but to be fair, they were all against teams that will probably be in MM.

Halfway through the first games of the day and it looks like Upset Saturday is starting to engage. Hopefully the Aztecs will steer clear of a possible contagion.

In the clips they have shown on local TV sports - it has shown Joel M. practicing with the team - am not sure if they are from this week or stock clips
Do need Joel , AG , Nolan and even Keshad to show continued improvement - especially on defense and rebounding .
