Kansas beats Baylor, 64-61. Let's see if we can pass Baylor now. Gonzaga will be #1 if they can knock off BYU tonight. I don't see how we are the #1 seed in the West if the Zags are #1 in the polls. I doubt we pass Baylor. They were too far ahead of us points-wise and the game was close. Probably Kansas or Gonzaga as #1 (if they beat BYU) and Baylor at 3. |

I was hoping Baylor would win. It would have been better for us in both the polls and the seeding if Baylor beat KU.

But, if that doesn’t happen, that’s where Kansas losing today would have helped us. We wouldn’t be shipped out to the East coast, most likely. |

But, if that doesn’t happen, that’s where Kansas losing today would have helped us. We wouldn’t be shipped out to the East coast, most likely. If we win out and Baylor loses to Kansas again in the Big 12 tournament we may jump them and get the 1 seed in the south. |

Granted it was in Spokane, but it’s still a tall task for BYU even as a mere 4 pt dog. I just don’t see it, I pray I am wrong. |

It just struck me how profound it is that we are here constructing scenarios regarding our possible #1 seeding in the big dance. Who could have possibly seen this season unfolding the way it has!?

Anyone who was watching last season who says they saw it coming - is practicing to deceive us. I can't imagine any scenario (at the end of last season) that would've led anyone into thinking that this season could've turned into the kind of magic that it's been so far… people on this board were about one step from calling for Dutcher's head on a platter last season. The constant "hero-ball" complaints, the ones about a coach who NEVER calls time-outs when he should, etc, etc. So yeah, no one could've predicted this season … and it's far from over. Now they're worried about P5 teams taking all the coaching staff from us this off-season. What a difference a year makes… Go Aztecs! |

Arizona lost @ USC 57-48. They were #7 NET before that loss with a horrible 3-6 Q1 record, now 3-7. Not sure how they were that high with 8 losses and that Q1 record. #8 would have them on the 2 seed line but the consensus among bracketologists before this loss was a #6 seed. Arizona dropped from #7 NET to #11 and Creighton is still at #8.
Michigan, who beat Gonzaga, also lost and went from #22 to #25.
Oregon won.
Root hard against these three teams.
