Great win for the boys.... My game ball goes to Carson Baker and the entire defense.... Strange game - I've never seen a BYU football team act so cordial toward us....bordering on conciliatory....BYU had no edge.....as soft as Mitt Romney. We haven't played in 5 years, none of the players on either side have any animosity towards the other. This was just a game to them, and frankly to anyone who started school around my timeframe of 2009. |

I strongly disagreed with scheduling this game (Videogate and their poor sportsmanship in prior years, and their insufferable fans) but since the deed was done, at least we won the thing.

Loved the way the team showed up after the disappointment last week. That shows character. Baker was mostly chained up by Horton but he made some great throws when he needed to. I still go for a senior transfer QB, but I'm a lot more picky now. Not me.....I like Ryan, but Carson made quick, committed decisions.....and he has a gun for an arm......Ryan is slow with his reads and holds the ball too long....Agnew is a play maker with his legs, but I'll take Baker right now.......time to move on.... |

Now THAT was a quality win over a team with a winning record!!
The fact that we held BYU to 3 points is extra sweet. This was the first time I felt really good leaving the stadium this season, and I felt really good!
And it was beautiful to see BYU fail so much in one game! What a great night to be an Aztec fan!

Just a great offensive scheme. Any SDSU QB can be plugged in to run this offense and almost always get at least 13 points. Oh, and please don't take this seriously. |

With a more open passing philosophy, Baker has the arm to be a star. |

We won but our offense wasn’t great once again. Carson showed promise for next season but if Horton comes back it doesn’t matter.
Unfortunately with this win Rocky will keep Horton definitely through the bowl game.

I decided that to give us a chance at victory I shouldn't listen to the game. I should just ignore it and go about my business. So, I must take partial credit for the victory. We beat UCLA for the first time ever, we beat Fresno State and BYU and have a shot at 10 wins? Please don't tell me that there are people out there who see this as a disappointing season. We have had so many that were so much worse.
